We had a 30 minute frost delay upon arrival but the course was in perfect shape. Greens were a bit fast and hard. The Deer on the course was an added treat. You could almost touch them.

In a few greens, need a bit of fixing, as they have on holes 1& 2

We joined up with a couple from Tucson which made for an enjoyable golfing experience.

Nice course, good condition , friendly staff.A fun round.

Real grass p greens again! Dormant dwarf Bermuda greens should outlawed. They're basically sand painted green.

I have played this course 8-10 times and have had mixed experiences ranging from pace of play issues to poor service. However the value and layout always brought me back. This last time was very frustrating. There was only 1 spot on the course to get any water and where they had a ice/water dispenser near the clubhouse....no cups. The course is changing ownership I was told and maybe the new regime will be better, but this was terrible. We stopped at the turn and went into the restaurant to get water and it took 10 minutes for the 4 of us to get served (there was only 6 people total in the area and 2 servers. We asked to buy drinks (either sports drink or beer) for the back nine and they told us they could not help, even though we had been served both on a trip to the course 2 months ago. I can only hope things will get better.

The course is in good shape. If you don’t mind cart path only. Sand traps were moist and compacted. All in all a good day of golf.

We have been more than pleased with both, the Mountain View Golf Course and The Preserve Golf Course at Saddlebrook. Both have million dollar views of the mountains, plenty of wildlife to see, and very reasonable rates for such beautiful courses. A definite "MUST GO" golf course!

I live in Saddlebrooke and play here frequently. The course conditions have deteriorated in the last 6 months. The fairways were getting thin and looking shabby. I played soon after it had been reseeded and closed for 3 weeks. You would expect fairways in excellent condition. Not the case! Still a lot of patches of no grass and the middle of the fairways where you would expect you would have plush, thick grass, it was just minimally better. I think Saddlebrooke needs to replace their golf course manager. There isn't any reason they can't improve the overall condition. The Saddlebrooke 1 courses have just reopened and their fairways are thick and in perfect condition. Must up your course conditions as the snow birds are here and the amount of play is going to increase resulting in further deterioration.

The fairly new greens which do not require overseeding and are in great shape, were very long and so slow as to be unputtable. Several o f the fairways were mostly bare dirt despite being overseeding 4 weeks ago

Mountain View golf course is in very good condition. Would recommend playing it.

As the overseed closure approaches most serious course maintenance has been abandoned. The greens are ridiculously slow and many fairways are still browned out {despite the monsoon rains}.

I like the course but wish they would maintain it. No Rangers available. One of the carts broke down and the pro shop would not even answer the phone. Not that it would have done any good as there is no-one working except the pro shop guy until the ranger comes in early afternoon and all they do is pick the range and wash/stage carts.

Used to be a great course but since the developer has a {pending}, sale of the course to the HOA any effort to maintain it has gone to heck.

Makes for a decent practice round at best and this time of year it is cheap on Golf Now but seriously... maintain the course!

Course conditions were pretty ruff near the greens. Time of year I guess. There was a lot of dry spots cut out. No beverage cart, no outside water, come prepared. Would have been nice to know the conditions before booking.

Overall, the course was fair-average. Greens were in pretty good shape, but fairways needed much work. Hopefully things will improve with the fall season right around the corner.

Played this course many times. Fairways had many bare spots. In front of many, many greens were under repair. No cart person. The first hole that had water was the 7th and it was also a restroom, but it had HOT water. It had lots of areas that had the cut grass that was not picked up.

This is a great course that normally provides a reasonable challenge; however, management has failed to keep the fairways in decent shape. Improper maintenance has caused large sections of the fairway to die off. This problem will probably not be resolved until fall overseeding with rye.
