Mesa Del Sol Golf Course

Conditions were great as well as the course. We had a great time .

Arrived at course and it is like a free for all, guy behind desk said to let him know if any fist fights break out at first tee, I think it was supposed to be a joke.
we were not told when we paid that a shotgun tournament was starting at noon and we had to be off course at 11:30, marshall comes up and shouts at us YOU ARE DONE GET OFF THE COURSE like 3 times . very bizarre , plus greens in very poor shape , cost was cheap but I won't go back

Reasonable overall for the price.
Water in ball washers smells awfull.

This course has a nice layout. Greens are not to hard to play on.

We had tee times for 2:23 and 2:30 and didn't get to start until 3:10. We therefore didn't get our full 18 holes done. We asked if the marshal could go and check into the delay and were told that the marshal leaves at 2:00. There were people teeing off every 7 min. but no one was coming off the course. Not acceptable.

I found the fairways short of grass and the greens were bumpy and not very fast. The whole golf coarse is in need of a major upgrade, kind of shaggy and unkempt, however with some extra work it could be a very nice track

We waited several minutes for all tee and fairway shots. Far too slow. Also, the greens are not good. The ball doesn't roll to the hole, it bounces. The staff is friendly, but I think they are trying to squeeze in too many golfers.,

This is a beautifully designed course but wear and tear has taken a toll. No easy answers to this one as their prime season is short and probably doesn't,t generate thee venue needed. Maybe look into state and federal grants. Don,t give up this course is worth the effort.

The course was in better shape than the first time I played. The course was very playable. Had a great time.

This course has friendly customer service in the proshop and in the beverage cart. The course layout is excellent and has sand, water and challenging greens. The course condition is better than last year with more grass on and off the fairways but the greens are very spotty and appear to have a weed/fungus infestation and they may completely lose some of these greens.

I always enjoy helping folks get around a course that's new to them. It helps my game and gives me a greater apprieciaton of the course.this is not an easy course. One must work their way around lots of water and bunkers.The course was in good shape for winter golf.My two friends loved it.

this is a cow pasture. we should have known by the condition of the driving range. the tee blocks are hit and miss, grass here and there. the fairways have grass in places, only the center. the are dirt, mud and sand everywhere. the greens are slow, bumpy and need work. overall it is not worth the money

this a probably the worst course we ever played. we should have know, when the driving range has more dirt than grass. the tee blocks need work (grass). the fairways are ok, but the short ruff is non existent. it nothing but dirt and burnt grass. the greens have a mixture of different grass and burnt spots. there are not cut evenly and your ball keeps bouncing on the way to the hole. we stayed an extra night in yuma, so we could play golf. boy, what a bad decision.

I played this coarse when it was fairly new and it was not a bad coarse, nice layout, so I was expecting it to be in a better more mature condition but was disappointed at how rundown it was. Grass was terrible where you could find it, greens rough. We had a foursome and went out at daybreak to get in a quick round but they let out a string of singles and twosomes behind us who were constantly waiting to go around us. The price was cheap but I would not golf it again even for free.

Bare spots in the fairways, greens very bumpy, I am sure that when it was well maintained it was a really great course but now only so so...

Not to many courses in Yuma but this is one of the better ones.

The course has a nice layout and tons of potential. However, every fairway and even some greens have bare spots. If you hit the ball into the fairway you probably have a 50% chance of having a good lie, 20% chance of being in a muddy hole, 20% chance of being on a hardpan hill, and 10% of being on bare dirt.

course needs a lot of upgrade as there is little to no grass on fairways making it very difficult to get any kind of shot using irons.
also were a group of kids fishing in the pond adjacent to a par 3 with bycicles laying on edge of greens and no concern about being struck by golf balls.

It's improving each week- and the beverage cart is complete with everything.

The course is in good condition with the greens needing some work.
