Tuam Golf Club

I was on my honeymoon and decided last minute to play some golf. I got a hot deal for 18 Euro. The weather started off pretty wet and windy and the course was soaked from the previous rain that week, so the ball plugged every shot, but the fairways and greens were in great shape.

The course is well layer out. There are plenty of trees and bunkers. The only thing that bothered me were clumps of cut grass on the fairways Course is flat so you have level lies. . It’s good value for the money!

Big improvements made in the last few years with a lot of trees removed opening up tees and greens.
Tee boxes, fairways and green well maintained and in great condition.
Well worth a visit.

Had a very enjoyable round, first time playing there but with another who had last played there about 10 years ago..they thought the course had matured really well in that time and had come on lovely! Credit to the green keeping staff..greens were solid and running well, lots of maintenance works going on at the course too which was great to see! Overall an enjoyable experience especially for the price we got it at (€17 each)
Can’t comment on off course facilities or staff because there was actually nobody around when we arrived…we just signed in on a book at reception as directed by a sign!
Only complaint for a sunny day..we were eaten alive by the insects!

Booked for 7:36AM in the hope of getting a free run at it. A fourball teed off just ahead of me and never allowed me through; they knew on the first tee that I was a single, and that there was nobody behind me. Their etiquette on the tee box was terrible and took them ages to tee off on every hole. Ended up skipping two holes to pass them out.
Course is in great shape; tee boxes, fairways and greens. Have cut a few trees since the last time I played which has improved things.
I like the course. It's a nice challenge.

Nice tidy course....very flat which made for easy walking...course in great condition....greens were very good and overall an enjoyable round of golf was had. Will be back

Green's roll truer than most. Sand is perfect too just the right consistency you'd expect. I only played back 9 as in a rush. It's challenging to the visitor best stick with iron's on tee for most holes. Mostly dog leg's right which suits my eye. A few holes were errily beautiful. It's well maintained and well designed so it's a 5* round of golf. Course graphics on each tee great touch! Mile buiochas

I Had a 9:58 tee time...nothing open at the clubhouse only a cleaner upstairs ...like a ghost town...went out anyways 6 juniors playing together in front of me...I was in no rush but they took 2 of my balls though cant prove it.... ended up doing 8 holes then leaving...course was well maintained and would have been a nice round but felt these lads with no supervision and guidance spoiled things for me
Will not be returning.

Played this course on a sunny if somewhat windy day. The course itself is lovely. The day we played they had spiked and sanded the greens, that is the only reason I have dropped a star from the course conditions. The staff are very friendly and helpful, as are the members of the club. Reasonably priced and delicious food & drink. On-site pro shop, again reasonably priced. We enjoyed it so much, we returned three days later bringing two friends, who also enjoyed the course & food.

Course is a nice challenge but not too taxing. Greens are superb. Staff are friendly and pace of play was excellent.

Staff very welcoming and efficient. Good practice areas. Tee boxes cut and marked. Generous tree-lined fairways. Rough not too thick. Nice finishing holes with water features. Well maintained consistent greens. Cleaning equipment in good working order. All round good course.

This is a fine course to play with its trees down most fairways and is also a fairly flat course
