Great day
Played with my brother, nephew and friend. Course conditions were the best I played this year. The views were great. Reason I gave a poor for off course amenities was paying $7.50 for 1 hot dog = no drink or fries included.
Definitely would play the course again. Worth the travel time of 2 hours away.
Great looking course
This course is one of the best course I played on in the Hudson Valley
My favorite course strikes again!
I don't know what it is about this course... but it's totally my favorite ! I golf 2-3 times a week, mainly utilizing the phone app's for better prices. Sometimes this course can be found for insanely cheap tee times, while other times I just have to do my best to convince my friends to pay a little more for some higher quality golf. The course is an hour drive from our town, but we still come up pretty frequently. The layout of the 27 holes is unlike other courses in the area, including CT. Lots of dog legs to the left, and lots of just interesting green and sand locations. The pin locations were not easy this past weekend, but were different than other times we've played the course and changed the holes to a large degree. I really enjoy this course, the conditions are always great, and the greens are among my favorite. Pace of play has never been an issue for us here whatsoever... the only thing we have to account for is how difficult it is to leave without deciding to play an extra 9 holes! Great experience, Great Course.
Applegreens
The course is nicely taken care of. The rangers are strict in maintaining a professional golfing atmosphere. The GolfNow price was excellent.
course in excellent condition. poorly marked yardage. got there an hour early. no one on the tee or waiting. course was almost deserted. still forced to wait to our official tee time and had to present our confirmation number which was a first this year. got the real impression they don't like golf now.
Definitely Recommend Apple Greens!
We are in highland for about 3 weeks each July and Apple Greens is now our course for our visits. Course is in very good condition and the staff is great!
Good deal,Well maintained course.
I booked 2 days prior.Good price ,nice layout.Ive played here before and would definitely go back
Maybe my favorite course
Apple Greens is a gem. This year was my first time playing the Apple Greens courses, but I've played all 3 different nine hole layouts a couple times now. The course is great, with a fun layout and design, and terrific upkeep. If you've played Lyman Orchards in the past this is much like that course, only in my opinion it may be a half step up. Apple Greens has well manicured fairways and greens, and the orchards are a blast to contend with. The prices you find for this course are all over the place... I personally try not to pay more than 45 to play, and it is possible from time to time. I've gotten on this course for $28 and that is a tremendous value. Can't wait for the next opportunity to get out. Oh and the staff is amazing... they helped me find my phone which had fallen out of my bag on the course. Took us 2 full days, but I now have my working cell phone back in my possession!
hidden gem up the thruway
a 27 hole layout with the original 18 set among apple orchards and flat and with the new East nine rising on the hill across the road. Conditioning is excellent and variety of holes for the original 18 is good given the flat land. The new East nine is so different it is like you are on another planet. Try to play the East late in the afternoon so that you can see the sun setting behind the Shawangunk mountains to the west. And bring a camera. Also bring a different mindset because those mountain holes require a different set of skills. This place is definitely worth a nice easy drive up the thruway.
Amazing
Best course in the area for a great price. Can't wait to go back
I had heard Apple Greens was an excellent course, and I was not disappointed. It's
110 miles one way from my home to play this course. I've already booked again for
next weekend....Enough said.
Great round!
very nice course! Enjoyed the views from the "East" course and Apple Greens 2. Friendly staff and 3 hour 15 min round. We will be back!
The condition like a Pebble Beach without a ocean
It is wonderful course and.please try East Course.
Strongly recommend .
