Beautiful Course that you will Remember
Unlike some boring courses you will not forget your time at Cider Ridge. With the Appalachian mountains as a backdrop many holes are just plain beautiful. The course is well cared for and challenging enough to test your skill but not so hard you won't be able to score. I played with two others who had never played the course (from Maryland and New Jersey) and they loved it. The friendliness of the staff will keep you coming back too. I only rated the food one star because the restaurant was closed due to Covid still. But I have eaten there in the past and the food was great. Lastly, this is a great value course.
Very good
Very good course and kind employees.
But I feel slow green speed.
Everything good.
Very nice course
Nice course. Beautiful layout. Greens in great condition. Well maintained. Great value.
Not 5 stars
Golf course layout, pace of play were awesome. If you are a local golfer then this must be a great track to have in your backyard. Based on the price I thought there would be some amenities like check in clerk could give directions to the 1st tee, no starter, no cart person, the clubhouse is not at the turn, and not enough signage for the first-time visitor to not stay lost. All of these can be improved to elevate this to a must-play Alabama course.
Great experience
I went and played on a Thursday it was a great experience I saw a few deer and the course was in great condition I'll definitely be back and bring the guys next time
Fantastic course! Best hole design and layout. Can’t wait to play it again!

Staff is great!
A lot of fun
The reason I said play time was slow was a five some in front of us and they wouldn't allow to play through. Overall I like the course. The people were awesome there especially in the pro-shop. Has challenging and unusual holes but a fun place to play.
Cider Ridge GC
Very nice facility and course. Destination type course, great layout, memorable holes with many forced carries. Course damp with little to no fairway roll. Played the whites with a 230 drive and most holes I was at the 150 marker, quite a few holes from the blue tees was much longer, so don't let your ego get in your way. Great layout, great greens and a great time.
All of except absence of face masks inside the clubhouse.
We play Cider Ridge 3-4 times a year, we are part-time residents of the Oxford area. We enjoy playing Cider Ridge, and the course is usually in good condition, weather permitting, even now during the dormant season.
My biggest complaint is this,: we are in the midst of a pandemic, face masks are required EVERYWHERE if you are indoors, every state, period. We played Cider Ridge this afternoon, and previously last October while in town, both times none of their staff, or other golfers in the pro shop were masked! This is inexcusable, and sheer negligence from a business and health standpoint. We will absolutely not return when we are back in the area next month due to lack of protocol.
Nice fast greens. Fix your divots!
Great course. Layout is beautiful from hole 6 all way to hole 18. Nice tee boxes, fairways low and cut, no weeds, nice clean bunkers, and of course, nice greens. Refreshing to see a course this taken care of once in a while. Go play
The view!
The level changes were great! And the views were amazing!
Worth the Drive
We played the course for the first time on 5/8/21. The course was in amazing shape and the the staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. It was well worth the 1 hour&45 minute drive to play.
Great Cours5
This course was amazing! My first time playing I was to busy trying to take in all the natural surroundings in scenery. The back nine has some nice views. Greens and bunker were a great shape. I would recommend this course.
