First Time Impression: Not Bad
There are few courses that I haven't tried in the past years but somehow I never got around to Heritage Ridge. It's a 1:45 min ride but I've played most of the courses around it. I found the experience to be a pleasant one. The staff was very nice and I even got out early (compared to some courses who don't allow Golf Now players out until the exact time, even if the course is empty). The course wasn't perfect but I found a lot of workers around the course and all of them were very courteous as I moved around the course. It's hard to knock a course that is obviously trying to improve by the amount of work being done. As for the layout I found it interesting as most of the holes were different from one another. Tee boxes were pretty good. Fairways had plenty of grass but I must have caught them between cuts as they were fuzzier than I would have liked. I hit a low ball so I would have liked a little more roll. The rough was adequate and challenging, but that is what most rough should be. The greens were fine for the most part with some of the edges having some kind of fungus problem. They never presented a problem for me. Greens all had some break in them which I found challenging. Got a round in just under 3 hrs. and I'm a slow golfer. The one thing that I didn't care for was the price. A hot deal at 12:50 was $30 and if I didn't have that it would have been $36. I thought the price should have been around $20 as that's what a lot of afternoon prices for a hot deal are in the summer. All in all I recommend the course and kudos to the staff and workers who were great.
Hot Golf Day
The rate was reasonable for the poor condition of the course.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Pace was excellent. Greens need some work but all in all for the price you couldn’t go wrong. I had a fun day.
Save your money - this place is the worst
Course is In terrible shape, greens are awful, staff has no clue what they are doing, paid $40 to play less than 5 holes, and to top it off, the staff tried to throw blame on other people for their lack of management and a failed attempt to verbally harass another guest in front of me. Save your money and go to Champions at Summerfield! Beware
