Fun course!
I love this course for working on my short game. It’s just right for a new golfer like me.
Great course to work on your short game. Not a hole over 160-yards. Greens were in good shape.
Par 3 Course
This is just a par 3 course to work on your short game, so all things considered, everything was pretty great. Great course to work on your short game and the course itself is in pretty great condition.
Low cost and that's about it.
My wife and I went there today just to have a little fun and a relaxing time. The course provided that.
No signs on anything. No hole numbers. Not a single blade of fairway grass mowed, or even a fairway really. Greens were in ok shape.
We are no pros and it was a beautiful day. Wide open out there, so my lovely wife and I got to take our time and practice on our pitch and put game. Worth the $10 each.
. Fun little course
Not easy, lots of hazards. Definitely not for a beginner despite being an Executive course. All par 3’s. Pretty good greens. I am a 9 handicap and always find it fun and challenging.
1st round for the little guy
My 6 year old and I walked out at 7am and had a blast. We were cranking his favorite tunes and I used the push cart w/ both our bags on it. He ran around the whole time and it was great as we didn't see another soul during our round. Lots of houses right on the course but no spectators, must be a late awaking crowd around there.
Course is what you expect for an executive 9 hole. Easy walk, cart is overkill here. No long walks. No hole over 160 yards so take everything over like a 7 iron out of your bag. Some nice carries over water and they looked like they were redoing bunker drainage so we found a good spot in the bunker and dropped so we weren't disturbing their ongoing work.
I liked that I need to hit shots from 90 to 160 off the tee, used a fair amount of clubs based on trouble front or behind. Front tees offered a nice fairway style approach for the little guy to hit his ball, run up and hit it again w/o having to carry the water or marsh.
Saw some nice wildlife in and around the ponds. Great little test on a Saturday morning. Mixing in a few rounds like this is good for your game and your brain.
Nice 9-hole course
The short course is set in a condo community just outside Holland. There is a small no frills clubhouse with soft drinks and a few golf accessories for sale - but not much else.
The fees are extremely reasonable. Although the short, course is interesting and well-maintained. There are a number of water features and minimal terrain change. One hole has a highway running parallel - so a little loud. Overall this was an inexpensive and enjoyable course - but it for the low handicappers.. A quick play at a nice price.
