A Hidden Beauty
I have played here twice, and really liked it both times. There are a lot of ponds that make accuracy a must with the driver. The greens are mostly flat but in good condition. I plan to come back when in the area.
Piegon Creek Golf Course
This course is very enjoyable to play. The only down fall for this course is the bathrooms which they only have porta johns which I really don't care using.
Good times on a course
The pins on the greens to tell you the location of the hole were usually wrong because someone probably messes with them. The greens were nice and fairly quick and fairways were also nice and well shaped.
Extremely well maintained track!
Course was in outstanding shape - tees fairways and greens! Not a whole lot of trees on this course as track is set up surrounded by farmland. Greens were fast and mostly flat. Pace of play was great but I played it in a Tuesday afternoon so it might be worse on the weekend? The best thing of all is I booked it on golf now "hot deal" for just $10 for 18!!!! Can't beat it!!!
Very nice Golf Course
The course was in excellent Conditions. Will play again.
Great course
Great course for all skill levels. Decent length with excellent fairways. Wide open but plenty of sand, hills, and water to keep it challenging.
Great greens
Took a beginner out people were courteous and patient, and the greens and fairways were beautiful. They are using plenty of water.
A Challenge
We went on Tuesday afternoon and there were very few golfers which made the pace of play great. The course is on the long side, and there is always a wind which makes for challenging golf. Lots of tall grass, some water and plenty of sand traps will gobble up an errant shot. Plus, the wind can turn good shots into trouble with the blink of an eye. Overall, it is a very good course and close to Grand Haven which is nice.
Vaca
Great course great price..............................
Fast but great greens
We were pleasantly surprised with this course, for being in the middle of fields is was a very pleasant course and the staff were great.
Well kept up, friendly staff
Nice course, always in good shape. Staff was friendly. Hidden ponds make it challenging, oar 4 holes on front are way too long for the average player
didn't disappoint!
I love playing a links style course, this one didn't disappoint either! It is a challenging course, but still fair. The only thing is that the greens don't break. As the gentleman working the pro shop let me know up front. It is something that they are workout though. Everyone there was very friendly and the pro shop was very helpful and hospitable! I can't wait to play this course again! It's worth the 45 minute drive.
GREAT LOCAL VALUE!
WE played Pigeon Creek for the first time this year and the course was in fantastic shape (almost country club quality). As usual, it was windy, but the course played well from the forward tees.
Converted Farmers Field
Took an afternoon off work on a beautiful day to play this course for the first time. When I arrived a sign was posted that the back nine was closed because they were aerating. So I only played the front nine....twice. The only problem was the front nine greens had been aerated as well and you really couldn't put on them. The course is in the middle of a farmers field. No elevation changes. I wouldn't pay full price for this course. A foursome slowed things down the second time around and wouldn't let another single player play through. A beverage cart would have been a nice touch but no such luck. Greens on front nine are basically flat and uninteresting. A boring course really.
A really nice lynx type course.
Everyone we met there was very friendly. The pace of play was our own. The greens and fairways were in excellent condition and the greens putted true. I would recommend this course to anyone who enjoys playing a good and fair course.
Well kept Links Course with large greens
This course reminds one of the courses you find in Florida. No trees to speak of ,but plenty of water, tall grass and sand. Several par fours over or close to 400 yards. This makes it very difficult.when the wind is blowing as it often does here. It is very well maintained. No alcohol so bring your own. Discounts for seniors. Fun to golf!!!
Great value
Course is sneaky difficult! Looks wide open but get off the fairway and about a 80% chance of lost ball in the weeds! Greens are in great shape. Snack bar is strictly smally packaged candy and crackers, no "real" food to eat. We really enjoyed the course
Nice Day for Golf
Very open course with young trees. No major hazards. Will play again.
Wind , tall grass , and water.
The greens were in excellent shape. The wind is usually a factor making the course play longer than the yardage would indicate. The staff is friendly and the course is a good value.
course has some good challenges
it was good challenges at most holes but with the 20 mph winds it felt like playing in the british open. but still very fun.
Dear Golfer,
Sorry for your first time inconvenience. I know that you were at least aware of the course aerification due to GolfNow and the Course postings. Now if you played the course during the season and not the end of September you would be able to enjoy one of the best links style courses in West Michigan tee to green.
Also, our Senior Rates start at 55. So you can get a steal of a deal you are looking for.
However, I personally invite you back to play the course and review us again this season. Please.
