course was in great condition
green speed varied ,nice mowing patterns on fairways
Very Nice Course
I really was impressed for the money Just how nice this course was.
This course has great features
A very fun course to play. It's in good shape with lots of good views of the surrounding area.
Room for improvement
Looks like they lost their greens here. Had been plugged and the grass was in poor condition. Was charged the regular rate and the greens were virtually unplayable.
Opening Day 2014
This was my first day golfing this year. It was extremely cold and windy. Hands were numb and I was COLD.
For the first day this year the course was ok. Lakes were frozen, cups were full of water and certain places were muddy. But this is the opening day. This course is a gem. Taken care of very well. AI love playing this course.
Good Value
Good Value, course usually in good shape.
Good place to play in the fall, very few leaves to deal with.
course is links style so no leaves in the fall.
The course is in great shape. Great course to play, staff very nice.
Long and open. For the few miss fires, not a ton of trouble.
Great conditions for early October. Got us in during an outing. Felt a little pushed but all in all a good pace. Great course for the price. Value purchase.
Great Views and Great Greens
Glengarry is a course that is challenging with great views and great greens. The course covers rolling hills with great views of Chestnut Ridge and the surrounding area. With minimal trees and wide fairways it lends itself to timely play and few delays. The greens are very fast and requires a deft touch to putt well. If you keep the ball in play, out of hazards, and get the ball in the hole once you reach the greens you can score well a Glengarry. A round on this course is always enjoyable and a good value. The new management is already working on the course to make it even better.
Nice course for the money.
Interesting course which is fairly wide open now that the Heather has been cut. Certainly better for the amateur golfer.
Challenging for all levels of play
A very scenic and challenging course. A lot of elevation changes on many holes. Even with all of the challenges, if you don't hit a straight ball, the fairways are wide enough where you are still in play.
Great course for the price
I play this course a few times each year. It is a great course especially for the price. Nice layout and the greens are in good shape. It's easy to get a T time and pace of play is usually good. All the staff are friendly and the overall facility is a nice place. I recommend it highly.
great greens super fast no trees no leaves
super fast great greens...few trees no lost balls fun course
excellent greens
course is well maintained. very opened hard to lose a ball. Greens have a lot of undulations which is the toughest part of the course and balls run true.would not pay full price for this course
Fast Greens
The course was in good condition for the end of September. The greens were very fast, but in nice shape. Would definitely recommend to friends.
challenging
this course makes you use every club in your bag very good course will play it again most definitely
Slow play on holes 10 & 11 because of ropes. Otherwise course was very busy, which tells you it is one people like to play.
Used Golf Now and saved 50% the standard rate. Course is in great shape. Hole #1 green has some issues with mold, etc.
Management needs to rethink taking ropes down on holes #10 and #11 as it appears to causing back up. Especially with #8 being downhill and most golfers nearly driving the green......only to see people waiting to make the turn.....Put the ropes "around" the water so golfers do not go near the water, and let carts on the #10 & #11 fairways. Take a survey of those who have played, as this golfer is reporting, and you will find the same comment repeated..
Trip to the Links
I enjoyed the course, it is picture esk and laid out well. In time and money with some tee treatments it could be very nice. I will play it again.

Sunday twosome didn't get paired
Course is short playing just above 6200 yards from the blues, but it has some challenging holes and elevation changes. It was nice to have a twosome on a Sunday and not get paired even though the course was really busy.
