The Majestic At Lake Walden - 3rd Nine / 1st Nine

Met, but did not exceed expectations. Great layout. Everyone raves about their greens, however I was only mildly impressed. Early-ish in the season though. Would play again especially in late summer/early autumn.

Of all the southeast area courses this remains the best in all levels...layout, you actually drive a minute to each hole and won't be ducking errant shots from other golfers...challenging and beautiful, maintained perfectly and the starter Ernie is the best there ever is and was....educated you on the course, potential hazards (poison oak and ivy), the gps and more....seats wiped and tees in cart he ensures the experience is second to none...thanks Ernie

Very enjoyable round, true putting greens, very nice condition for this time of year, , good pace of play.

Fairways had a lot of grass clippings, but otherwise enjoyable and moderately challenging. Will play again and recommend.

Slow greens, rough was about 5 inches long fairways and tee boxes were uncut. We were the first tee time of the day on hole number 1, yet they sent tee times off the back so we had to wait a half hour to make the turn.

Played course one day after torrential rains. course was in impeccable shape.

played with 2 buddies, found on golfnow hot deal for 13 bucks each....couldnt pass it up. especially when i live 2 minutes away but just started golfing this year. will definitly play as often as i can find hot deals on golf now. best looking golf course around.

An absolutely beautiful course. Very well maintained and the staff were some of the nicest I've encountered at 7am in the morning. Sort of like a ride through nature while hitting some golf shots. Will definitely play again.

There was no ranger in the course. we had two twosome in front of us. one twosome let us go through but, the other did not , we had to wait for them most of the time.

The shape of this golf course is the nicest I've seen. The seclusion was awesome felt like you were the only one there . The only thing wrong with this course it was over 90-degree day and there's no clubhouse at the turn . Had not had lunch and was almost time for dinner was hoping to stop at the turn and have a hot dog or a sandwich and cool off but there is no building to stop at to cool off or eat at the turn. They did have her girls come around often but with no food besides snacks. I believe they could step up their game by building something at the ninth hole to stop and cool off and food to eat. They could make a lot more money just on the sale of food

Being of the "Spray & Pray" driver type, there is enough trouble to keep you busy, but I still managed to break100. :) Love the greens

Course can be quite challenging from the advanced tees and yet still playable. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating and course itself was in fantastic condition. All and all just a great day and wonderful course to play.

Nearly 5 hrs to play. Never saw a Ranger

Course had a fair but challenging layout for this weekend duffer. To be honest I think the price is a little steep for the off-course amenities and challenge of the course.

The course is in great shape but like most courses on a budget the clubhouse is lacking. Also 1-18 are one continuous track with no turn house open this early in the year. I love the setting with ample opportunity to see wild life and enjoy drives through the woods. Also played 19-27 for extra $15. Thanks guys Staff was Great. * Fairways are very generous.

Nice views, excellent condition for time of the year

Just like playing an up north course. Scenic views of Lake Walden from several holes and a woman friendly course especially on the north 9 hole course.

Great course. Laid out around the lake, no out and in. There are some challenging holes but they are all fair, no real hidden surprises. It is beautiful in the fall.

Haven't played here in two years, last time I played at Majestic they had lost their greens but stilled charged full rate. Yes this is fall golf but the greens were like a shag carpet and weren’t even rolled. Doesn't appear they are putting much into maintenance and this is too bad because this used to be a premier course. I doubt I'll ever go back................
