Great value / Great course
I drove two hours to play Binder Park and it was well worth the drive. The course was in great condition, with every hole beautiful to look at and fun to play. I will be back.
Very nice
Staff was friendly, the course was in excellent condition.
Great Value
Course condition matched most resort and private courses we have golfed recently. Both Greens and fairways were excellent. Greens moderately fast and true. Preferred Natural to Marsh nine. Did not golf Preserve. Best value we have encountered this year when measured against course condition.
Great time
This was a good course to play. Will definitely play again !
My thoughts
It had been a while since I played here and there wasn't really anything that had changed. The biggest down fall is for those that have not played here will find it difficult to know where to go from some greens to the next tee. They do have some marked but by the time you get to the sign you were just lucky you made the correct choice of which path to follow. Condition of the fairways and greens were very good, the greens are very challenging. They are tough to read as to what your ball is going to do and they are very fast. Where they have black top cart path's they really need to do a lot of repair work. I would reccomend this course if you haven't played it yet.
How have I never played here before ??
This was a fun course. Not too brutal and too easy. Good elevation change and great conditions. The staff/guy was probably the nicest I've run into at any course ever. Played literally dozens of courses on "hot deals" from this site alone. He spoke highly of every course in the area. Just nice to run into someone not irritated by your presence these days.
Staff aside... course better than either Gull Lake (West/East) and Bedford Valley.
Great Balanced Course!
My girlfriend and I played the nine hole Marsh course, deciding to walk the course instead of using a cart. The first thing I noticed is that the course is very hilly, which makes walking it physically grueling at times. However, this does not detract from the overall experience. The course is not prohibitively difficult, lacking much which makes other courses difficult, i.e. water and sandtraps. I would characterize it challenging but fair. Off the tee, you have to be fairly accurate, as many fairways are fairly tight and an errant tee shot finds you in the woods looking for your ball. Aesthetically, the course is beautiful, boasting walks through trees and marsh areas. Geese, a groundhog, and cranes all made appearances, which were nice to see. Over the past month or so, I have played 3 courses and by far this one is my favorite. I'm sure I will be playing this course again!
aireation alert
greens aireated recently, but not noted on golf now. was very disapionted to get there and see this had been done. (cant putt)
Great greens
Very nice course. Not too many places to get into trouble. Greens ran true. Very well maintained. Excellent fairways and very nice greens. This is a course that would be hard to walk.
great course
a little bit of a drive for me but was glad i took the time. Played eighteen holes with my brother and we both thought it was a great course worth the drive and will definately go again. Course was in great shape and with the different tee boxes is a good course for all levels of players. i will pass the word to my friends that this is a must play course.
Beautiful course. Great value.
You will not be disappointed with this course.
Perfect for the beginner to the advanced golfer.
Great natural enviroment.
A great course with nature abound. A must course to play in the Battle Creek area.
This course was challenging but playable to the amateur golfer.
Had a great time golfing this course. Blind shots provided difficulty. Greens, fairways, and tee boxes in excellent shape. Only downfall was the threesome that jumped out in front of the foursome slowing them down and slowing us down. Staff friendly and helpful.
Bird on the one hole must have been trained to attack Ohio State attire..LOL..the bird was so funny and we made the most of it.
This is a great Muni. course.
The course was in great shape with very good fairways. It demanded accuracy from being a mature course, but also was foregiving when it needed to be. Fast greens had just been sanded, but still remained true and quick. Once again, just a great course to play.
Fun course
If you like straight flat holes this course is not for you. Lots of hills, bends, and water on this beautiful course. Challenging yet forgiving
