One of my favorite courses
I love playing Binder Park, beautifully kept course. Greens are tough, layout is excellent. 27 holes so you are able to change it up. Staff is friendly. They are very good about regulating how many are on each set of 9 so that you don't get backed up very often. I really like playing this course and can find great deals on golf now.
27 worthy holes
With three unique nines you can almost always get golfing even without a tee time. They do have leagues however and an occasional outing so best to call ahead. Course is always in pretty good shape, greens fairly smooth with gentle to sharp breaks. The trees will require that you hit straight tee shots on lots of holes and you will need to sweet spot your driver to get past the 150 marker on some par 4s. Ron the pro is great, his staff...a bunch of good folks.
Great golf experinence
A great variety of golf holes with great conditions. Played poorly and still had a good experience. Up North feel without the drive. The staff was friendly and professional
Great place!!!
It was a extremely nice course. The layout was prefect it was very challaging with a fair share of forgiveness . Put it on the 10 courses list I play every year!
What a great track for the money!
Played mid day on a beautiful Friday afternoon. Was rather surprised the golf course wasn't busier for such a nice day. The staff couldn't have been nicer, the whole operation from arrival to departure was too notch. I've payed twice as icy for courses half as nice. Greens rolled true and fast.
My only complaint is the did not have sand on the carts to repair your divots in the fairway. I replaced what I could during play but that sometimes felt inadequate since the course was in such nice shape I wanted to leave it just as nice as when I arrived.
If you haven't tried this hidden gem you should it's well worth the drive.
Super Impressed
I played Binder Park for the first time with my wife. I was extremely impressed with the course conditions on the Marsh and the Natural. Unlike many courses this summer, I saw little dormant grass or blight. Greens were excellent and played true. I definitely will play again if in the Battle Creek area.
Wonderful Layout
Really enjoyed our round on the Marsh and the Natural. The landscaping and course conditions were excellent. Finished the 18 holes in 3.5 hours on a Friday morning which is pretty good. The holes were varied with some being spot golf while others were doglegs. I thought some of the holes played longer than the yardage indicated,. This is a great municipal course and would highly recommend it for others to play.
Great Course
Worth the drive! Great course at a great price.
A fun day.
had an enjoyable round. The pace was somewhat slow, but we were a threesome, playing amidst foursomes. The weather was hot, but there were plenty of water jugs available on the course, every 3-4 holes.
Binder park always worth playing
The course can be very difficult if you are unable to find the fairway from the tee! It was playing firm and fast. Excellent facility, from the 3 practice holes, range, 27 holes of golf and clubhouse with plenty of choices for food and beverage.
Great course
A joy to play there! A good choice of 3 nine hole courses.
Greens were fast but smooth
Very nice place to play and great service. Thought the greens were very nice and well maintained.
battle creek gem
binder creek's pro said it best when he found out it was the first time i played there..he simply said you will love this course, and he was right.they obviously take great pride in their facility, and it shows-nice greens, manicured fairways, and a really well kept property made for a terrific round.
Tight fairways
Overall nice course and well maintained. Some holes have super tight fairways with almost no landing zone. Lots of slope changes and elevated greens. Tough to score well if you are not straight off the tee.

Great day. Great course. Moderate Score. Course is in great shape, but lightening fast greens surprised us for a bit. We adjusted as we should and had a great round of golf. Staff was very friendly. Beautiful clubhouse. Strongly recommend playing there if you are looking for a Southwest Lower Michigan round of golf. In the famous words of the Terminator... "I'll be back".
nice course for first time players, challenging
,,play was extremely slow we had to get the marshall to hurray up the 5 players ahead of us,took 51/2 hours to play 18 holes
Great course for the money
The course was in excellent condition and it was challenging. I was unfamiliar with the course so missed two hidden landing areas and hit some unseen hazards. The fairways and greens were in great shape and the pace of play was very good. We would take the one hour trip again to play this course. I bet it is gorgeous in the fall.it also has a First Tee instruction area which is nice.
Great fairways and greens.
If you are off the fairways on your drive you'll encounter some hardpan surfaces which will often cost you a stroke. Stay below the pin or you're toying with a three putt. Friendly staff, especially upper management. Play here often and Golfnow really helps the reasonable cost.
Binder Park Marsh and Preserve...nice!
The weather was perfect and the pace of play excellent. The condition of the greens and fairways (when I was on them) was way above average. Pride kept me from playing the senior tees - it would have been even more enjoyable! There were several holes where finding the fairways was difficult due to slopes. I think after playing it a few more times I will select the correct club off the tee.
Beautiful course
A beautiful course. The staff is friendly and helpful.
