East at Orangebrook Country Club
There are two 18-hole golf courses available at Orangebrook Country Club in Hollywood, the East and the West. Built in the 1930s, the East Course is the club's original layout. While its design may be more traditional, it is just as much of a challenge as the newer West Course. The East has fewer water hazards but there are large bunkers strategically placed throughout. There are some tricky holes included in the design but there are also many player-friendly features as well including wide-open fairways and generous landing areas. Players can get their practice in on the large, lighted driving range that has both distance markers and a practice bunker. Orangebrook C.C. offers not one but two player-friendly but challenging rounds, making it popular amongst locals for being one of the area's best values.

Orangebrook East course
Course was in terrible shape. Greens were in bad shape, fairways had too much tall grass, lots of tree debris from past and recent storms. Course should be closed and rehabbed. If not offer a 59% discount to play. West course is in great shape. They should take care of East course..
Nice Layout! Poor conditions due to drainage....greens (or better Browns!) completely burned. Putting almost impossible.
Beautiful course. The staff? Not so much.
Orangebrook is a beautiful, well designed course that is challenging, rich in natural beauty, and is a pleasure to play.
However...some of the staff need some major lessons in customer service. Particularly the cart guys. And just a heads up... i dont the cart guy to tell me unload the trash from my cart 7 times. I'm an educated+commonsense kind of guy who always tips out, including the starter, kid at the front where you can put your bags.
Work on common sense and respect Maybe I'll come back.
Course in terrible shape.
We played this morning and the course looks like it hasn’t been cared for in years. The greens were brown from neglect. Putting was impossible due to the terrible greens conditions. I would stay away until they fix the course.
My brother and I played the East Course. Course condition was cart path only. South Florida has received a great deal of rain over the past several weeks. All greens on the east course are dead, completely brown. A majority of the fairways were soggy, so much so that we considered them as casual water. Although there are employees present, it would be better to close this course and allow the east course a chance to rehab.
I normally don’t write reviews but this was worth reviewing first the set up and staf was very organized and friendly .didnt took long an we were at first tee. . Now the course for us that play here for years now you couldn’t have a better surprise than this. Fairways to green the conditions we’re like never better ..I envision that this looks like the original version many years back. .Kudos to the whole crew and we will be back next week
Great course conditions and improving greens
The course was in good condition and the greens have improved. The staff was friendly and the pace of play fast. Great day on the course.
wide open course
tee boxes had little grass, and greens in very poor condition and bumpy. this course was worst course I have played on in years, and will not be back.
Course was a nice layout with lots of water and minimal traps. Fairways were good winter conditions but greens were very small and fair to poor condition. Staff was friendly but most water fountains and on-course bathrooms only partially functional. Got a very good Hot Deal price but $45 regular price would be fair for the so-so course conditions. Loud as next to Interstate.
While the staff was great as well as the weather, there was nothing special about this course. Generally wide open spaces with very few hazards. The main defense of the course is it very small greens and the wind. Some of the greens were over seeded and very difficult to putt. Overall this is a enjoyable course for the average golfer. Scratch golfers are recommended to find a more challenging layout.
