Good for hot deals

It had been a long time since I had been to the course and its in better condition than I remember it. The course is fairly short, many chances out there for birdies. I don't like the set up of the markers, being that there are no vertical yardage markers, but rather painted on cart path. Don't mistaken this course for one of the better ones in the area, but for a fun afternoon or new golfer it is a good choice.

Sand Wedge ????

Course is short,,,,,,some fairways are wide open but there are some that are narrow and fairly tough. Sand traps are a joke,,,,,,just dirt holes,,,,,good place to break 100 ,,,,,,,about 6 to 10 strokes less than most courses,,,,good value for the money,,,,,clubhouse does not play football games on the TV. I didn't like that. I will go there again. Much road work in the area right now,,,kind of hard to get there.

Best staff but no grass

I love the staff and clubhouse feel. It's awesome. The price was great too. The course really isn't that bad if they just watered it. Dead grass and dirt everywhere. Tee boxes were rough also. A little work and this place would rock.

A lot of fun, great for the short game.

I had a great time. Greens were large and well maintained. Played from the black tees you are given many challenging shots. Will work your short game as well as your long irons/fairway woods. I didn't expect much. I was pleasantly surprized.

Sand Wedge

It was a beautiful day, with the sun shining brightly, course was not overly crowded. Conditions were excellent. I enjoyed myself, and will be back again.

Fun little course

First time every at this little course and I was very impressed. The lady that was running the clubhouse and bar was very nice and extremely informative about the course. They also have a clubhouse cat named Tibby that is very friendly and enjoys getting attention. The course itself is in excellent condition and the greens are taken care of. We drove 45 minutes to play here and will be making another 45 minute drive again, because it is a perfect course for my girlfriend.

Needs some TLC

I played here on Father's Day with my son. This course could be a very good place to play with a little tender loving care. Start with the tee boxes. Too many of the teeing grounds were placed on mounds which prevented a flat stance. In addition, the tees were further restricted by the growth of bushes on each side of the tee markers. Some allowed little more than three or four feet of true teeing area. The course owners should have spent far less on the hole markers and more on the tee boxes. Next, the fairways had no yardage markers, making it difficult to choose the proper club for approach shots. Sure, there were some feeble attempts at red, blue and white stripes spray painted on the cart paths but they were very hard to spot, especially when on the far side of the fairways. Thirdly, the greens were infested with ant hills everywhere and the greenside bunkers were, at best, atrocious. There was virtually no sand in the bunkers and most featured some sort of trimmed down grass plants growing in a corner. If you can't take care of the traps properly, don't have them.

If it wasn't for the fact that we played here at a discount, I would be hesitant to rate this course even one star. As it is, unless these issues are addressed, I will not return, nor will I recommend it to any of my friends.
