Hidden Gem
This course is a hidden gem in my opinion. It’s pretty challenging and with three sets of nine the pass of play is smooth.
Not impressed
Course is odd. Poor layout. Too many blind tee shots and blind approaches, sometimes both on the same hole. Two of par 5's are strange. Too many forced carries. Confusing cart traffic, some holes over 300 yards green to next tee box. Poor driving range over 500 yards from clubhouse. Crummy clubhouse. Not worth playing regardless of price. Well maintained but no fun to play, especially for seniors and anyone above a 10 handicap. Course has no identity, tries be be links, parkland and resort all at the sam time.
Surprisingly dissatisfied
Nice people, tee boxes are so so, fairways and greens are nicely kept. NOT a course a woman wants to play. bO Bathrooms other than at the clubhouse!!! My wife was busting a gut! Also, the Marsh was absolutely terribly marked. The book they give you says to aim for or stay left of the 150 marker, nor a 100 yard one. NO 150 pole to see. Found a small white block about 8”x8”. Can’t see that from a tee! No GPS available on the Marsh! Played by blind. The Hills course had GPS and markers but had th play the Marsh basically blind. First time there and when we complained to the starters they said there was ports potties last year but none this year and that they’ve heard of gps problems with garmin but I have a new bushnell watch and it showed but the yardages were not even close. A 570 yard par 3??? I don’t think so. Won’t be back under these conditions.
This course is very challenging
It would of been nice to see a beverage cart out there.
Sand traps need work.
Great Course
Challenging but fun. Beautiful course and a decent amount of shade on the hot days.
Challenging, fun course
The course is very challenging with a lot of forest and water hazards but that’s what makes it great.
