Hillcrest
Quick round of golf. Played from the blue tees which was long enough to make the round interesting. Course was in very good shape.
Great round!
This has always been the best draining course in the area. The fairways are wide. The bunkers are in great shape, and the greens are large and well maintained. And despite the infamous island green on 18, I managed my best round ever yesterday.

Hillcrest is a decent & challenging course...lots of people so greens show the traffic but they (the greens) are in good shape and at good speed.
Some tee boxes were under repair.
Beverage cart kept coming around...a good thing this time of year because it was hot!
Signature hole, #18 always a challenge to play!
Love the Course
Play this course all the time and I love the variety. The greens and fairways are always in great shape. The staff is always very pleasant and the island green at number eighteen will make you scratch your head.
Great Golfing
A well cared for course suited to all golfers. The staff was great from start to finish. Play in the morning, South Florida summer afternoons can be very hot and rainy.

always like that course
They forgot to mention a "small detail"- rebuilding of almost half or more of the tee boxes, which made some holes are too, too easy- boxes moved far forward. Other way- nice course
Excellent layout for any handicap
Great condition from t-box to greens! The staff beginning from Pro-shop to the attendants is first class. Restaurant has a very good menu, and a well stock up bar. Not only I play this course often, I have also the privilege to participate on Golfnow league held at this course.
The course is great
Only issue was the resturant was closed on Mondays.

Course conditions were really good and we played through pretty fast. Staff was awesome about moving us up and got us out playing very quickly. Look forward to playing again.

A good day
I've played Hillcrest several times previously over the years. Nice place, but IMO a bit over-priced. We had an 8:37AM tee time, and when we arrived, there were at least a dozen people waiting to tee off. The starter went out of his way from the moment we arrived to make sure we had a good time. He let us slip out on the back nine after a quick 5 minute delay. Checked up on us a couple of times even to make sure the pace was acceptable. Far and away the nicest service I've seen on a South Florida golf course in a long time.
Good: Course was in very good condition, the greens were as slick as I've ever seen, but mostly smooth and consistent.
Bad: Sand traps were very thin on sand, made it very difficult to get out and hold the green consistently.
It was a holiday and the bar was not open - very odd. Had to leave the premises to grab an after-round beer.

Had an amazing day! Fairways and greens were in great shape. Greens rolled extremely true and fast. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Bev cart girl was always there and very nice.

Also glad to hear you enjoyed the speed of our greens. We are in the midst of numerous course improvement projects and we hope you will see the transformation over the next few months. Apologize for the bar being closed but Memorial day tends to be a Barbeque day and in the past we have been empty. Our snack bar is an alternative spot if it is not too hot.
