The only negative thing I can say is. They need to put bathrooms out on the course. With no facilities on the course makes it very uncomfortable for women.
This course has great features
It’s a beautiful golf course tons of fun, the elevation tee are awesome to hit from and a challenge to get on top for the greens. We played the jungle and the hills, in the hills once you get past hole #4 this no signs telling you you’re going the right way. Overall it’s a great course super friendly staff and a good time!
Hard to guess layout
Copper Hills is a beautiful course nestled in rolling woodlands. Very difficult with many blind holes and thick rough. Par 5’s are a challenge due to marsh & cat tails to shoot over. We had a gorgeous fall day, but our scores didn’t depict a normal round.
Love this course
This course has three 9 hole tracks to make your day challenging and rewarding
The course was a bit wet this weekend, so more staff and turn preparation was definitely needed. But it’s hard to beat the design of this course giving you the ability to alter club selections and create a bit of fun out there.
A soggy good time
Course had heavy rain the other day so was real soggy in some spots but course overall was in great condition
Got paired up to make a foursome. One of the guys was a slower golfer so first 9 played long. Did not appreciate the ranger telling us to speed up twice. The course was the one that paired us up and it was cart path only, not much I can do about other peoples golf speed.
HORRIBLE STAFF!
Me and my two playing partners purchased Group Golfer vouchers for $29 dollars to play here. We went out on 8/27/21 to play. It was a cloudy day and rain was in the forecast , so soon after finishing the first hole it started to sprinkle but we continued to play as we’ve done before. By the time we finished the second hole it started to rain and by the time we reached the third hole it was a down pour accompanied by thunder, basically we were stuck out on the third hole for 30-45 minutes under a small branch so we didn’t get totally soaked. So after this long period of trying to wait out the storm it stopped raining and we hit our tee shots on a rain soaked tee box onto the fairway of hole #3, well we managed to finish this hole and the clouds came back in and it begin raining again so we headed for the clubhouse. We went in to get a raincheck and the staff member ( Matthew) told us initially that because we had Group Golfer certificates that he couldn’t give us a raincheck! So after going back and forth his compromise or settlement was him granting us $20.54 off of our next round of golf there. So two out of the three left and one of the guys stayed back and tried to continue his round and Matt told him that the course was now closed for the day! So they conversed again about the the raincheck and he assured my buddy that the $20.54 would be honored on the senior rate! Matt never specified a DAY or TiME! So we booked the course again on 9/4/21 and here’s where it got personal! My buddy got there before myself and our other playing partner so he’d already went in to pay, I arrived as he was walking out and he said that Matt is trying to charge us $39 dollars for our round today! So this in addition to our $ 20.54 raincheck. So I go into talk to him and he tells me verbatim( after I ask him was this true) that we would have to pay this amount. So I ask him, are you asking us to pay this amount in addition to the $29.00 we had already paid Group Golfer? The amount for our round would then be $68.00 ( $9.00) more than your daily for the day and he said YES!!!!!!!! He then tried to argue with me about the rate and said that he wasn’t budging on the amount! I asked who the owner was and he said Glen Bausman! This was the worst experience that I’ve ever had in my 20 years of golfing and I’ve played at over 200 golf courses all over the United States!!! Copper Hills she be ashamed of themselves, you got my money this time but NEVER again!!
Fine shape and course
Routing is terrible. Layout is terrible. Bring lots of golf balls.
Hidden Gem
This course is a hidden gem in my opinion. It’s pretty challenging and with three sets of nine the pass of play is smooth.
