This course was well maintained but due to the weather it was very wet.
first time here
The weather was pretty hot that day. The course is well-maintained, nice wide fairways for a person with a handicap under 14. The greens are easy to read and in excellent condiction. everyone their was pleasant and hospitable and the cost is reasonable. I look forward to playing it again.
Tough, but fair.
The course is in fantastic shape, greens were receptive yet fast, and you will use every club in your bag. What more could you ask for?
Nice Links Layout
Nice links layout with really good greens. The undulating greens rolled true and consistent from hole to hole. Good fairways and well placed bunkers. A good number of risk/reward short 4’s made for a number of 3 woods or shorter off the tee. Not a shade tree to be found and no bev cart on the back 9 were the only real drawbacks when we played a sunny 88* day.
Very playable all ways in Good shape. Pace of play can be slow at times
Very nice course for the money
Well maintained, nicely laid out course. I would play here a little more if it were a little closer. Worth a round or two though.
We have tee times for a reason....right? Course in great shape!
We were looking forward to playing this course since it has been quite some time. We had our tee time for 12.40pm and when we arrived at 12noon we were notified that they are running behind on play and we won't be off till about 1.10pm. Well now, let's just get rid of tee times all together if we don't manage properly. There were no carts for us either till about 5 mins till our new tee time and then we were told to 'get in line' on tee box 1....lol are you kidding me? How do you mismanage tee times and not enforce pace of play? Ridiculous.
However, after we discussed everything with the people in charge they discounted our round and we played the course. Excellent course and in very good shape. Despite our issue, I would come back and play it again. We had lot's of fun and once we finished the front 9 the pace of play sped up a bit.
Front 9 let's you warm up and get your confidence up before they stretch you out on back 9. Half island par 3 with a tough green a bit unfair based on pin placement. Greens slower because early in the year. Have fun nice track.
Haven’t been there for a few years. They must have new owners because it looked and played a lot betterI left a bad review last time,But it’s much better now
77 degrees - late October golf
I had not visited this course in a few years and I was pleasantly surprised with my round. The conditions for the course in late-October were great. I would highly recommend this course. The fairways were perfect. The greens are well maintained and true. The course has came a long way in the past couple of years. Kudos to who ever is taking care of the course. They are doing a excellent job!!
Event management needs work
We were scheduled to tee off for a charity event at 1230 and didn't get off until after 3pm. Not sure what course staff would let 140 people play a morning tee time when 80 were scheduled, but we were incredibly delayed. Course staff tried to make amends by shaving price down and donating the extra money to the charity for which we played, but after three hours in hot sun with little to no shade, I wasn't impressed.
Course was nice... wish it had been a more enjoyable experience.
Really nice course
I remember the way the course used to look it was not good. The changes that were made makes this course look beautiful now. The fairways are great as are the greens. Its very scenic as well even though its nestled among the homes. A lot of times a person can be worried about hitting these said homes but not here.
Wet and windy
the course was in good shape. Rained in the morning and windy in the afternoon
GREAT COURSE ......TERRIBLE PACE!!
Got a great hot deal on golf now and we Played as a 3 some mid day on a nice fall Saturday. We then were matched up with a single to make a fourth...nice guy and we enjoyed the new company... ....started pretty much on time however 3 foursomes were stacked up and were starting on the 1st hole which is a par 5 so some space started to open or so we thought. It was pretty much a start and stop day...all the rest of the afternoon for 18 holes....turned out we finished about 6:20..Almost 5.5 hours!!! have played in golf outings that got done quicker!!!....course pace of play is 4:30..so it was a LONG afternoon to say the least. The ranger riding around said the SLOW play was a result of a few foursomes a few holes ahead of us that was causing the slow down and that was near hole 6 or 7...so it seems like he was unable to light a fire under them to move things along faster... The saving grace was that the weather was nice and the course was in great shape...greens rolled fast and true even though you could still see some healing from fairly recent aeration....Would recommend...just hope that golfers in front of you keep moving at least at the course minimum pace of play
A good challenge
Some challenging holes set amongst houses. Fairway grass was long and was in need of being cut. Greens were extremely soft, approach shots stick well. A decent course for $35 round but not worth more.
I have played golf all over Mi this summer and this course is just in fabulous shape. It has come a long way in a few years. Tees, fairways, greens are perfect.
