Coyote Preserve Exceeds Expectations
This course is rated one of top 10 public courses in MI. The rating is certainly justified. In very good shape and seemingly carved out of the wilderness, it was an interesting and challenging track. While it is nestled in a community, it does not detract from the "up north" feel of the track. From nice carts to friendly people to fast greens, the place exceeded my expectations. It is kind of remote but they have great restaurants in Fenton to top the day off. Will definitely go back.
Great Track
Love this course, this was my 2nd time playing it. You better bring your A game for this course. The last 3 holes as to rank up there in the top 5 as the best finishing holes
Great Course
It's a blast playing this course. You better bring your A game. Fairways and Greens were in great shape. Greens seem to run a little slow but that could be from the rain they had the day before. The last 3 holes has to be up there with the best finishing holes in Michigan golf
Over priced
Over priced. Slowest greens. Weeds growing in binders that haven’t been maintained. Even the true bunkers haven’t been raked in weeks. 6hrs+ round. No beverage cart on the hottest day of the year. Overall disappointing for the price.
Great test of skills
The course is in excellent condition. A very challenging test of ones ability to make golf shots.
High handicaper
The course is great. Didn’t stay for food or drinks so no comment on that.
Great Father's Day Outing
The course is great! It is always one of my favorites to play. We booked on Father's Day so I expected the pace to be slower than normal which was fine with our group.
Unfortunately, the group behind us spent their time cussing us out for not moving faster. We were on top of the group in front of us the entire time so really nowhere for anyone to go...I don't know why they were getting so upset it is one of the busiest days of the year.
The marshall was super friendly and did a great job moving people along! The gentleman at check-in was rude, to say the least. My brother wanted to pay for our dad and grandpa and he had the gall to ask him if he could afford that.
Regardless we had a great outing as a family and we will be back.
Coyote Preserve
Nice track to play
Several blind shots
Green rolled nice
gREAT POTENTIAL BUT COARSE IS NOT BEING TAKEN CAREOF., Needs watering very badly. Need a coarse ranger to help slow players get a move on. We were a foursome and played the front in one hour and 50 minutes. Caught up to three foursomes on the 12th hole and it took us over three hours to play the back nine. Ruined a nice day.
Awesome Arnie track, that 16th is a beast, visual treat, Can’t believe this is metro Detroit, WIFE loved it too!
As I live in Grand Rapids area I never played east of Lansing and always saw this course on top ranked tracks in the state. As an Arnold Palmer course I expected great things and it didn’t disappoint. Having played Ravines, Legend st Shanty, Kings Challenge / Manitou I had an idea and this was my fav.
Course conditions terrific after dry Dry May. Hardly a divot or ball mark to be found. Some of the best greens and fairways I have ever played even in this drought. Wife absolutely loved it also, aesthetically beautiful, nice stone work and we got a great TeeOff rate of $71 for two which is a bargain in today’s market.
Wife even said she would drive back 2.5 hours to play it!
May have to try other Palmer track in Northville.
That 16th Kia a bear and a very challenging course from any tee but not tricked up. Greens rolled perfectly, just an awesome day with wife, not too busy on a beautiful Wednesday 6/7/23
Memorial Day round of golf
The course was in great shape, pace of play was good for a holiday, the staff were all very friendly, we will be back again!
