Good short game course
Because it’s a First Tee course, it’s a little shorter for youth. Adults can enjoy the shorter shots into greens. However on the negative side, adults who should know better seem to like to throw their beer and pop cans along the paths between holes. A little cleanup effort is needed and maybe more trash cans.
Not a good image for youth!
I love Mud Run!
I've been here many times over the past six years or so. It is a bit short at a 34 par, but it's a very relaxing course to play. The setting is tranquil enough, especially at the middle 5 holes, that it's easy to forget you're in a city. The course and greens are always well-maintained and it's never so busy that you feel like you have to be in a huge hurry (unlike at Good Park, which is so crowded these days that it's become virtually impossible to enjoy). One word of warning: you WILL lose balls if you don't hit straight! Most holes are ensconced in woods and wetlands.
Decent course at a great price.
Nice modern electric carts. Nice clubhouse. Super casual vibe. Place of play was super slow but no one cared. Was the perfect course for a lazy Monday game.
Needs more food options in the clubhouse.
Should be $20/round
We walked off after our start was delayed by half an hour and it then took an hour to play 2.5 holes. Very kind owner who offered rain check and full refund. Ownership is great & welcoming but this course is not in good shape & is not close to being worth $40/round.
Good for beginners
Course was good for beginners which is what we were looking for. Very short holes and only one par 5. Based on the reviews, we were expecting it to be a little better maintained.
Big value
Great value to get some swing time in. Tee boxes could use a little bit of work but that is a completely minor complaint. Very hard value to beat.
Nice short course
A really nice short course that probably aligns better with people learning the game or that hit the ball short. I’m not a big swinger and never had an approach (other than the one Par 5) that wasn’t a wedge. The course itself is well kept and taken care of and a really enjoyable play. Play was backed up pretty bad for an evening tee time on a weekday but it was one of the first nice days of the year so it’s hard to say if that’s the regular or not.
Pleasant and Well-Managed
This course is in great condition and is perfect for a quick round, especially if you're with young people or other new golfers.
Atmosphere and condition
Played here for the first time today. The staff were very nice and helpful. I played by myself and everyone I came up on let me play through until it was backed up totally then that group offered to let me play with them. It was a very enjoyable experience. The course is not long but it is fairly tight. I will come back here for sure
