Been a while since I've been back to the course I remember it was challenging then and it's still challenging but overall the greens were in good shape and fairways had some rye in them little bear and some spots but typical of coming out of a cold water this year. Staff was very pleasant very friendly starter very nice got us out a few minutes ahead of time and the other guys that we were paired with were very nice very friendly guys enjoyed the outing and we will definitely be back that's for sure the greens were in great shape road smooth but just a typical good old Florida golf course. We will definitely be back to play very soon.
Great value
The course is a good to great value for $28 - $32. Both greens and fairways are in decent condition. As long as their price point remains, we will be there on a near weekly basis.
good value
This course is in tough conditions with lots of fairway areas short on grass. But this is very common on many courses in this area of Florida (upland sandy soils). There are many courses within 40 miles that are much better conditions but for 3 times the price. I am more than happy to play here, many holes are quite challenging and the greens are fine.
Good value
Got right off and played in 3 1/2 hours even tho it was crowded. Everything was cut very good, tees weren't too level and had some bare areas and greens very fast an also had bare areas . Wind blew Spanish moss and leaves on the rough and fairways and made finding your ball alittle tough . Worth the $20 green fee to get out and practice but watch out for deep cavens and the pond on 11 in the middle of the fairway
Greatly improved
This course has shown great improvement, and very quickly, compared to other courses in the area. They definitely need to keep their greens superintendent. Bravo
Sweet play
Continues its cycle of improving. They have worked hard on this course. There is still room for improvement. But bang for the buck is amazing here.
Coming along nicely
The grounds staff appears to be working to improve conditions. I just hope they can keep it up, particularly thru the summer. Right now conditions are playable, especially for the rate on GolfNow. Good luck.
Lakeside 2024
For $23 didn’t expect much and it delivered. This course, with some $$$ and a fresh crew could be a gem. Layout is solid! From the blue tees, the holes front and back are challenging and require good shotmaking. Greens were in good shape, fairways and rough were…well rough and required a significant roll to find a patch of grass to hit from. Annie, the cart girl was the highlight of the staff, friendly with a good selection of drinks! Food at the bar was tasty and inexpensive. If you’re not expecting much for $23 with a cart, help them out, they could use the revenue and it’s better than the “Tin Cup” driving range.
Casual round of golf
Conditions were marginal but hit was fine for a casual round.
