Winter golf
Fairways have grass, so good to see. Greens a little rough but not bad, (use to be best in the county) good layout keeps you on your toes.
You’ve come a long way baby!!!
Fairways are defined. Plenty of grass to play off of. Better than many of the courses that a rated higher. Greens are coming in. They still have room for improvement.
All I can say is if you don’t see the improvement, that’s too bad. But for those of us that do what a great place to play.
Nice green fairways
Played a course in the general area and found that does not have any grass to speak of. Lakeside actually had green fairways but some of the greens were in rough shape. Overall though, great price for 18 holes and enjoyed the wildlife there.
Average, but inexpensive
The course is is okay condition. Nothing extraordinary for the good or the bad. Greens were left a little long and slow in comparison to courses in Orlando. Course is fairly easy and one for beginners as there are not many places to lose a ball. In the "gorge" hole, don't even look if you go down the pit. While you could come back with 50 balls in your pockets, the likelihood is you need a rope to help you get back up the slope. :-)
Windy Golf Day
it was a very windy day, and as usual, it appeared we played more holes into the wind than wind at our back! The tee boxes and greens were in fairly good shape. Need seeding was growing on the fairways, so wasn't mowed. The greens were pretty tough on the front nine, but not so much on the back. Overall, for the price, I enjoyed my round.
The bathrooms on the course are basically not in operation. FYI.
Coming back
Appears the course is making a comeback, there is new grass on most tee boxes. Fairways were mostly green. Greens were challenging, but very slow. New carts.
great value
this course has made a huge leap and has steadily improved since August and continues to improve. bunkers went from weed infested messes to playable and the the Grass is managed .
Getting Better
This course is made leaps and bounds and its efforts to improve. The fairways are much better than they were. There’s grass on all the tee boxes. The greens are coming along. Thank you to those that are working hard to make this course what it can be.
