The only issue we had was with the rude group behind us. We were following another foursome and waiting on almost every shot. We chalked it up to them following another foursome that were not the best of golfers. That happens! Well, the group behind us decided to try to move us along (we had no where to go, mind you) by hitting shots into us and over us when they could clearly see us waiting for the group ahead of us to clear the green. Suggest there be more of a presence of rangers out there. When they hit their drives into us on 16/17, one of us rode back to ask why they did that and their answer was we were too slow. After explaining we were waiting for the group ahead to move, they just declined to converse with him any more. Class acts. They were a threesome so they should have expected to be waiting since they were following 3 foursomes. We had a 1:10 tee time so finding out who these people were shouldn't be hard to do. Personally, I'd ban them from playing for the rest of the season. Looking forward to your response.
Always a great time at Heritage Shores
This course is always in good shape, friendly staff in the pro shop. Brett always does a great job taking care of my group. Food after the round was great as well. I play here atleast 10 times a year
A good course if you try to make it so
If you’re patient you can be rewarded - it seemed like the focus for staff on the day I was there was a member event being held the next day. As a first-time guest, the experience was sub-optimal while the course itself is a really entertaining challenge for an average golfer like me.
After waiting for check-in at the pro shop because the clerk was not around, I got on the course andI moved along behind a twosome I suspect I had been separated from because there was no starter.
Maybe it was related to the next day’s event, but there were no ball wash stations on the course, and I felt like I was interrupting the grounds crew’s work on a couple of holes.
At the end of the round, I returned the cart to the same parking lot location where I started, but did not confirm with any staff because nobody was there at 6 pm.
Welcome to the Sahara
Arriving, paying, loading my own bag, no beverage cart on a course that has no shade. Maybe worth playing in fall, not summer. Course was empty but had to wait until mid morning to play.
Super Course
Try it if in the area you’ll be glad you did. Hills prevent seeing green if not in fairway.
Great Place and Golf Course - I Wish they made 50 and under communities like this one
Awesome standard of golf course, played for the tips and the front 9 I felt was tougher than the back but conditions were excellent and the whole community albeit over 50s was so nicely presented
Great course for the money!
I really liked this course.
Challenging but not difficult.
Always a good deal
This is one of the best courses for the money in the area. All other courses have soured in price towards Rehobeth, Bethany, Ocean City through the pandemic. This course has maintained its value. The course is typically in good shape. The greens are very smooth/true although a bit hard when we played. Practice area grass was a bit thin. Pace a play is good without every group being a foursome. Course is interesting with water in play for slicers and forces different club selections off the tee. Staff is always friendly. We will continue to rate this favorite place to play in the area for the money. Keep up the good work.
Greens were awesome!
Course was in fantastic playing condition. Looking forward to playing there again soon!
