Heritage Shores Golf

Great course, great shape, wonderful staff. Every bit as good as Baywood in Longneck DE and half the price. If it was closer to beach - I would live there.

Found deal on golf now and it was a winner. We have played Heritage Shores and bit far from Long Neck, DE but worth the travel for the price.
Am sure we will be back.

I was on vacation in rehobeth beach and played this course on Father’s Day. It was a well maintained course but it is in a over 55 community with a lot of new construction. The signage to the clubhouse was not good. Most of the holes had water in play. I would play this course again if I’m back in this area.

This course is the best deal in the area with an interesting layout and excellent conditions. Range ball included!

Nothing bad to say .Excellent course. But it’td be nice to tee up smwhere btwn 5900 & 6500yds..

The good …. Course is beautiful, well manicured and greens roll really good. Lot of water , really nice challenging layout..
The bad…. Had a 7:30 tee time, in parking lot at 645…. 2 young kids just moving carts around , nobody acknowledged I was even there , directed me to a cart or even a good morning. When I finally asked “hey uhhh where do I check in “ reply was oh… over that way, but they’re not open yet”. Ok , so when do they open…. Reply “I think 7am”.
So I wait in my car a little longer and finally at 7:15 somebody opens pro shop so I can check in and I am able to squeeze a rushed 10 min warm up session on range before I decide that I guess I better head to 1st tee and see who I am being paired up with and tee off. I arrived e at 1st tee and there are 4 groups there with 7:40 tee times and later … I say we’ll nobody is 7:30? They say I think that guy on front tees is. I drive up and introduce myself because a starter is nowhere to be found… I guess we’re both 7:30 and going to play as twosome in fro t of these groups I asked… guy replies “ no , I play really fast and just gonna play alone”. What a douche… All the guys in groups back at mens tees have to wait for him to hit now and then wait for me to hit. It worked out ok once I got off tee in front of them, I will say I never waited on 1 shot but was not a very fun way to play a course for the 1st time. They seem to take care of and k ow all the resident/members but could care less about non residents who book a time there, and at $98 I would expect a little more … like maybe a good morning at least.
Is a nice course and did enjoy playing it and possibly play it again with a partner 1 day … could’ve been the holiday weekend had people hungover but everyone seemed quite rude . Just lower your expectations on the hospitality side of things if your not a resident

A very nice course that is typically kept is very good condition. Staff is professional, helpful, and friendly. Routing is good and it has some challenging holes.

Fairways were good and putting greens very good.

Rough us up and clover in full bloom. Lost a couple of balls that rolled from fairway into rough and took all of the allotted time in our group to find some balls hidden just off the fairway. If you are in front of a group playing forward tees, they are playing a course that could be 2000 yards shorter than you so be aware how quickly they can come up behind and complain to the staff about how slow you are. This week #16, a par 3, played 180 yds from the Championship tee and 50, yes 50 yds from the most forward tee.

Beautiful place to play and enjoy the surroundings.

The greens were every bit as good as prime Peninsula or Baywood or Bayside. The course was in great shape overall, but definitely not forgiving. Rough is very thick!

This course is challenging with a good course layout. The pace of play is good as long as you hit your ball in the fairway. The grass is thick and tall in the rough and will definitely slow down the pace of play looking for your ball. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only thing that I can say that I am really disappointed in at this course was the snack bar not much to choose from other then a hot dog and pretzel bites. This course is a 55+ community but open to the public.
