The course fairways and tee boxes fair, the greens were good, fast downhill. The pace was slow had to wait on every shot. Will play again and would recommend playing!!
They were rude and I will never go back !!!!!!!!!
Unless you are a member do not play this course. I signed up as a single on tee off for $25 and was joined with another single. My wife has alzheimers and I can not leave her at home alone. I explained to the guy in the pro shop that I neede a separate cart. He informed me that he was charging me $20 for her to ride along and he could charge me the whole fee of $35. The other player was standing next to me and even he thught that was excessive since I already paid the green and cart fee. The course is fair at best wih some bare and some overgrown tee boxes. Some fairways had very lttle grass on them. The only good thing is the greens are nice. This is supposed to be a country club ? I will call tee off / golf now and see what they think.
Average course
2 above average golfers took 4 hours to play. 4some ahead of us had plenty of opportunities to allow us through. No one in front of them for 2 holes. Greens were good, ball rolled nice with good spread. Fairways and area’s around the green little grass with tight tuff lies. Overall course is average probably worth $30.
Inverness G&CC
This is a nice course. Nothing outstanding, but it’s solid. Lots of oak trees but still pretty open and forgiving. If you aren’t in the fairway you’ll still have a shot to the green 9/10 times. One thing to note if you play here: GREENS ARE FAST! The fairways aren’t bad but some are cut shorter than others. I’ve noticed it in the last 2 weeks and I’ve played 3 times. All in all, I would definitely recommend playing there.
2nd time playing this trac
Nice course with some fricken fast greens.. MAN,, they are true and somewhat hard and did i say fast..
the fairways are a bit short but the grass in somewhat dormant in winter even in FL.
the gas golf carts run good bu both time the park brake did not release when pressing the gas pedal.. just needs adjusting..
the course has 6 set of tee with the blue coming in at 6194 and the silver, in front of red, at 4372 so all levels of play can have fun.
got this on hotdeal one time and another time was full price but still like 35 with cart..
when I come back to this area will play again.
Inverness
We played early & it was easy to get on & we started ahead of our tee time! It was a short wait time only because of the group ahead, course was in very good shape, greens were also nice & true! Thanks
Mid-January Round
Played the course with 3 buddies on Friday morning. There was a large group in front of us so we started a little late of our tee time. Once on the course, the pace of play was good. The greens were in decent shape for the time of year. Tee boxes were tired. Sand traps could use some new sand. Relatively flat course with a couple of long par 3's. Fairways must not be watered during the winter as they were pretty hard. Tight lies to be expected. Fully disclosure; this is the first time I have played here and it is winter. I would play again during the Spring or Summer months.
Fun round beautiful day
Teed off at 1pm so finished just before sunset. We're paired with 2 brothers and we had a fun round. Can be difficult to find your ball if you aren't of the fairway, especially on the last few holes when the sun is setting. Great mix of holes..always enjoy our round here. Staff is great at managing tee times. Water and ice available for your water bottle.

I was pleasantly surprised the greens were as fast as they were with staff putting top dressing down and watering it in as we played. Small elevated greens. Your short game will be tested. Liked the back nine better than the front. Very good value for the money. Will play it again later in the day.
Nice course , play here. Frequently can be hard to find
Good course fun playing
Good course if used with a discounted price. Not worthy of $45 without non-discounted value. Over priced but golf deprived snowbirds driving 🚗 rates much higher than a fair value.
Course greens top notch 👌.
Will play again.
Golf pro shop could use some personality improvement
NY Snow Bird
I understand it’s winter golf. Fairway Grass is dormant, The greens rolled beautifully, and I had a great day. The cups were cut fresh and at times grabbed the ball This is good..
Good course for us amateurs.
The course was not too challenging and was in good shape, from the tee boxes to the Greens. We enjoyed our round. The cold weather caused the course to be pretty empty, so we played at our own pace.
