quirky
I don't hate it but not a fan of the designs of Kelly Blake Moran in this area and this is no exception. Just too quirky in too many spots on the course with bunkers or hazards you can't see. Also course is very poorly marked for yardage and it was a guessing game all day. It was a 5 plus hour round. After we completed lay on the first hole there were already two groups backed up on the second tee. No marshals on the course as well.
5 hour and 15 minute round
13 minutes between driving to 2nd tee and being able to tee off. We purposely slowed down on the 2nd hole so then only had about an 8 minute wait on hole 3 before we could tee off. The 2 groups directly behind us played hole 2 as 1 group of 7 players and finished the hole on pace due to the backups. The tee times are so close at only 8 minutes apart it creates a lot of waiting. 5 hours and 15 minutes later we finished the round.
The online booking both on Golf Now and the courses website may show spots available for 1 or 2 golfers but in my experience you cannot complete the booking as only 1 player it must be 2. I tried to fix this both through Golfnow and directly with the course but to my knowledge it has not been fixed.
Greens were a little on the slow side and somewhat bumpy today.
Inconsistant greens
Greens were inconsistent. It seems they were slower the more they undulate. The course would be so much better if you could get a tempo with the putter.
Would be good if taken care of
Has the potential to be a good course, but unfortunately they don't maintain the course like you'd expect when playing a $75 golf course. Slow greens. Bunkers were atrocious. Totally unkempt, most had sections that were simply hard-pan mud. Many had little to no sand in them, and they weren't prepped at all for play. I'd expect this at a $30 dog track, but for $75, the course should at least be prepped for the day, i.e. greens rolled, bunkers raked, etc.. Pretty nice layout, but unfortunately misses the mark for price point. Icing on the cake was being told to catch up to a group that teed off a half hour before us. Won't be back.
Sadist designed greens.
This course is very well maintained for the most part. However since it is almost impossible to find a level landing area in any fairway, is it really necessary to have the greens resemble
an amusement park roller coaster? Two putting is quite an achievement on most greens due to the most severe undulations you are likely to find on any public course in the area. On a bright note, I was paired up with two great guys, Steve, Sean and best of all Sean's little daughter, Lexi. I had a great time in spite of seeing more undulations there in 1 day than most people see in a lifetime.
Ledarach September 2015
I played on a thursday AM. I was about 5 minutes late for my 8:42 tee time and was pushed back to a 9:00 time. I was a single and had the day off so no big deal. I was placed behind 3 foursome of senior lady golfers who had a terrible pace of play. I didn't even tee of till about 9:25. I played 3 holes with them in front of me. I averaged 20 minuted on the first and second tee waiting to tee off. By the 3rd tee a group of 4 senior men were now behind me. Not wanting to be a single holding up a foursome, I looped around and played the third hole again. I now had no one behind me and played more relaxed. I unfortunately caught up to the seniors after deliberately taking my time at the turn, had to skip 17 and 18 due to slow play

Played for the first time I liked the layout, conditions for August not really great, fairways were average, greens were irrigated.
Good, but not great
Course layout was very interesting, challenging, and fun. The course was very wet however, and it had not rained in quite some time. A lot of un-fixed divots in the fairway as well.
Nice Layout and nice conditions.
Had a great day. Good pace of play. Only complaint is par 5, 12th hole. It is way too long.
Lederach
Course was in average condition greens rolled well pace of play was slow and no rangers
Best course in the area
Expansive with many elevation changes and undulating greens. A must play but don't be surprised to score 5-10 strokes higher than normal.
Fun & Challenging
Staff was great! Check out site for discounts . Great condition! Played blues and was a fun day. Greens are defiantly difficult but worth playing. I would suggest this course to anyone that plays regularly!
Great track
Decided to play this on a whim on the way to philly. Great decision. Staff was awesome and ver friendly. Course was very fair but hit it on the correct part of the greens. To me that was the real challenge and defense of the course. I will be back
Tough Course But A lot of Fun
Played here on a Saturday morning from the Blues. It's a big challenge but still a lot of fun. The rough is unforgiving but fairways are pretty wide so keep it in the fairways. Greens are always tricky here with different levels and roll very quickly. The round took long with many groups ahead of us that probably shouldn't have been playing this course. If you usually shoot over 100, I wouldn't recommended this golf course to you.
Love the Layout; Quirky Greens
I absolutely love the layout of the holes on this course. Definitely one of my new favorite courses. The greens are a little gimmicky but it's something different. Think of it as a poor man's Chamber's Bay.
Wide Open Course ruined by ridiculous greens
I enjoyed most of the course, because it was very forgiving of poorly struck tee shots. I viewed it as trade off for the nice tee shots that would hit a hill in the links style fairways and wind up with a poorer than usual lie. However, I cant believe a course architect actually signed off on the green designs. I've used the Aimpoint express method of green reading for awhile now, and some of the mounds on greens were so severe that I ran out of fingers when trying to use the Aimpoint system. The greens single handily ruin the course.
Will Never Go Back
Heard about this from another guy... he described it as a "resort style" course... I assume he has never played at a resort before.
Maybe he was referring to the very slow play -- it took 3-1/2 hours to finish 12 holes, and then we walked off. There was a 3-some in front of us. 2 of the players were playing from the Blue tees (6,600 yards), and their average drive was 50 yards -- I'm not kidding. They had no right playing from the blue tees. I play 3-4 times a week, and I played 6,000 yard course.
Additionally, it had rained the night before, so it was Cart Path Only. Many of the fairways are pretty wide, so even if you hit a good shot in the fairway, it could be a substantial walk from the cart path to your ball.
Lastly, not one time did we see a marshal or ranger anywhere on the course. There is no way a hacker should be playing 6,600 yards if he can barely hit the ball.
Well - more lastly...the greens are RIDICULOUS. There is so much slope on the greens with several multi-tiered greens. This is not a course for the average or even above-average golfer.
Nice people on staff --- but would not play there if it was FREE -- and that's the truth.
Great price… Great condition.
Long course and tricky greens. The course has a lot of change in elevation and great scenery. The greens are very ondulated. and makes for a challenging putts.
must play
great deal, $40 for an early morning tee time. This course is on my radar every week if i get a good price.
