To me it starts with the greens
The course was in good shape for late December. The greens were excellent. They were very smooth, rolled true and the perfect speed. I booked a hot deal so that made the value even better but well worth the regular Golfnow rate also and being a private club it never seems overly crowded. It was cart path only the day we played because of the heavy rain the night before had it not been for that it probably would have been quicker pace but the pace wasn't bad.
All greens rolled true
I would give the speed at an 11. Saw only one wet spot in the fairways - some more around the edges. Every thing else on the course was pristine. Cart girl was there once on both nines.
Great condition
Entire course is in excellent condition. Nicest greens in the area. Pricey but if you can afford it , about as nice as there is around.
I have played this course 6 or so times and enjoy it- nice layout!
Greens were very fast and rolled true. Course was in nice condition, very playable. Haven't played in almost 3 months and it definitely showed- usually shoot in the low 80's but failed to break 90, a bit disappointed, but that's the game of golf. A course definitely worth playing!
Fantastic
This has always been a great course. Right now it is in the best shape I have ever seen it in. Go out and play it on Golfnow
The course offers something for everyone.
There were enough hazards to make this course challenging while offering several tee positions to accommodate all level of players. The course was in good shape, the greens are well maintained and true. It is a very good value. I would recommend this course.
fairway conditions great, greens putted true, sandtraps in very good condition
Belong to a private club. Play a local course once a week. Always get a thank you for palying our course, come again etc.. Not unfriendly, just indifferent. Stopped in pro shop after play to remark on the conditions, should have stayed in the car.
A shot making course requiring good course management.
Enjoyed the course, despite 25 mph winds that made it even more challenging. Greens in great condition.
Play the right tees and you'll have a great time.
A difficult course with several forced carries. Greens are fantastic, fast and true, with some very subtle breaks. Fairways are ample, rough is fair. If you play the right tees (we didn't), you should be able to score well.
This course is always in great shape
Greens were running about a 10 or 11 and in great shape. The fairways and rough were in great condition.
I would definitely recommend this course to anyone to play.
Nice layout
great course-no beverage cart service-maintenance people were rude (no regard for golfer).
Nice place for a round of golf.
Nice 18 hole course for a round of golf in Jacksonville Florida. I played on a Tuesday and not too many players were on the course - a good thing. Two ladies in front of us let me play thru on the third hole. Everyone was nice and friendly.
Course is laid out in groups of holes around single family homes. So you have several long stretches on the cart path / side of the residential street between the groups of holes (and I mean long - as it is a ride)!
Course is well maintained and some of the holes are very interesting. Water, woods/trees, and homes are common on most holes.
The grounds crew.
The grounds crew needs to learn to move the machinery away from the green when a group is putting or even approaching the green. They need to learn golf etiquette.
The course is in good shape.
I was pleased at the overall condition of the course at this time of the year. All of the greens were in very good shape and played very fair. The course design and layout offers fair challenges from all approaches. I plan to play this course again, when I get the chance.
Excellent Course
Nice blend of holes, fast greens, close by (across from avenues) - Will always play this course when a tee time is available.
Nice Course
It is a nice course to play an Fun to play. It is in Great Shape and the greens are also good to put.
What a nice day on the course.
We were greeted on the second hole by a gentleman who asked if we had ever played there. My friend and I both replied "No, never." He took the time to give us course management advice and thanked the both of us for coming to share our day with them at the club. He was very sincere in hoping we enjoyed ourselves and his sincerity went an awful long way with me personally. The course was in great shape and the greens were fast! The scenery alone was well worth the price of the round and coming down 18, seeing the clubhouse, with the sun going down and the kids out playing... it was like an ad in a magazine. I highly recommend this course for a nice, quiet and unrushed day of golf.
