Legendary Run Golf Club
About
Golf architect Arthur Hills designed the Legendary Run, an affordable facility that offers country club-caliber golf in spic-and-span surroundings and with what management calls "the friendliest service in the world." Scottish links golf courses inspired the front nine of the golf course, which sits on 200 acres of land and features six lakes, and holes are named accordingly: Troon, St. Andrews and Turnberry, for some examples. It's a different story on the back nine, which weaves through woods and was influenced by holes closer to home, such as those found at Augusta, Winged Foot and Shinnecock.
Book two weeks in advance to ensure you get on for a round on the Legendary Run golf course, and leave your metal spikes at home - there's no reason to worry, as, conditions permitting, you can take your golf cart off the path if necessary. A far cry from Cincinnati's recreational golf courses, this one requires a collared shirt (mock, if you must) and non-denim pants (shorts work, too). The pro shop will dress you if need be.
A bonus for eco-thinking golfers: The Legendary Run counts itself among the members of the Audubon Sanctuary Program and enforces respect of the natural habitat.

Never going back
First they didn’t have enough carts. A common problem so we over looked that. That’s when it went downhill. After three holes we discovered that two groups ahead of us decided to play an 8 man scramble. For the rest of the round. No one from the course came out to stop them. Called the clubhouse to get some ranger out to break it up but it went to voicemail. We could barely see our shots on 17 & 18. The round took almost 5.5 hours. If that’s how they are going to run their business then I’m not going to give them my money.
Legendary
The staff was great. The bar service was quick at the turn and they were super friendly throughout the day. Great experience and made us feel welcomed!
Nice course in decent shape.
Greens actually roll out pretty well but I like them firm and quick. Feels like "real golf" and not putting on shaggy carpet! Fairways freshly mowed and rough is under control especially considering how early in the season we are. Staff was friendly as always. Overall a decent course for the money. Will definitely play again.
Overpriced golf
They need to get their head on straight, this is a 30$ course at best, bunkers suck, greens suck, 69$ for a crappy experience
Tee boxes are moved up in the fairway! What ever happened to this place!
Desperate to play !!!
Nice course !!!1 I am new to town so this was my first experience. Front 9 pretty well open. Being winter they had all of the tees on the par 3's up on the red tees. I thought the hole twelve was a bit goofy but the rest were nice. Not too many hidden dangers. The course was wet from the melted snow but wasn't too bad..... Green fees including a hot dog, chips and a beer at the turn
Pace too SLOW
Pace was awful
Early tee time yet pace was so slow
2hrs 30 min on front 9
Same for the back
If the pace is slow it ruins ur rhythm
I can play 18 in 2 hrs 30 min
Outstanding course
The play was slow but who cares.
Great course decent greens and the staff was nice!!
Great course and great people but the worst course in the city for pace of play. Played here 3 times now and each time took 3 hours per each 9 holes before I ended up just stopping.
Legendary Run
For the money, with the greens being punched it is overpriced to play here. The course is very hard (firm) needs watered significantly, and there are a ton of of bare spots most likely from not watering.
If the right person owned this course it could be a spectacular track. But needs a lot of improvements before I will go back to this track.
2 hr 50 min for 9 holes
Booked a reservation Saturday to play Sunday. Arrived to the course an hour before the scheduled tee time then learned of a 2 hour delay, caused by frost. As expected the course was able to improve on that time so it was closer to a 75 min delay once we finally teed off. From there it was a waiting game all day until we decided to end the misery after 9 holes (paid for 18). The course was in fine shape, sunny day, carts could scatter. But play was moving at a snail’s pace. Unfortunately we did not see a ranger at any point during the round to encourage faster pace of play or to give any updates. While weather is certainly out of their control, you might expect some guidance from the pro shop prior to taking payment, and for staff to do whatever possible to improve the experience. While I wouldnt rule out returning in the future, it will take some time to get the bad taste of this experience out of mind.
