Legendary Run Golf Club
About
Golf architect Arthur Hills designed the Legendary Run, an affordable facility that offers country club-caliber golf in spic-and-span surroundings and with what management calls "the friendliest service in the world." Scottish links golf courses inspired the front nine of the golf course, which sits on 200 acres of land and features six lakes, and holes are named accordingly: Troon, St. Andrews and Turnberry, for some examples. It's a different story on the back nine, which weaves through woods and was influenced by holes closer to home, such as those found at Augusta, Winged Foot and Shinnecock.
Book two weeks in advance to ensure you get on for a round on the Legendary Run golf course, and leave your metal spikes at home - there's no reason to worry, as, conditions permitting, you can take your golf cart off the path if necessary. A far cry from Cincinnati's recreational golf courses, this one requires a collared shirt (mock, if you must) and non-denim pants (shorts work, too). The pro shop will dress you if need be.
A bonus for eco-thinking golfers: The Legendary Run counts itself among the members of the Audubon Sanctuary Program and enforces respect of the natural habitat.

Nice Course
Course is really nice especially for this time of the year. The only bad thing here is the pace of play. It was awful. There was a varying degree of talent causing the pace of play to really back up. The staff were friendly. Other amenities were great.
Very Poor Customer Service
We play there regularly and have never had a problem. Young man at the front desk had no personality and had words with several members of our party. Senior rate on Friday before 11am is $42. In order to get that rate he required each person to provide name, telephone number and email address. Otherwise they had to pay $59. He had words with several members of out party and told them they either provided the info or the rate would be $59, or they couldn't play. Never required this before and we generally play there every month or so. Also, their policy is NO HANDICAP FLAGS. We have several on our group of 12-16 that have documented health conditions. The rangers didn't care and told us everyone had to comply with the cart path rules, no exceptions. Unbelievable that they do not make accomodations for the handicap. Again, we've never had this issue before. I don;t know if they changed ownership or management but they are definitely accomodating or fcustomer friendly. Won't be going back there for the forseeable future even though the course if nice. and fun to plat.
Nice course
Like the mix of links style and American style nines.
Legendary
Very nice course. Good value for the money. Country club feel for public course price. Great course conditions and friendly staff. Would recommend to anyone who plays.
Good Track
I always enjoy getting out to Legendary a couple of times each year. Staff was great. Quick check in. Nice cart (no GPS). Fairways and greens in great shape. Bunkers could use a little love though. Not many public courses keep their bunkers up around here though, so used to it. Will be back.
Great place / great staff
I don’t usually do reviews but had to after reading the previous one… the review had to be related to a very rude customer I witnessed giving it to staff, I’m assuming the manager. She handled herself professionally and had a lot more patience than I would. Place is wonderful and looks great… by the looks of things they are doing something right.
Terrible General Manager and corse
Not happy with “leadership” (Kai) not knowing anything about golf and trying to run a golf course. Get a golf course person!
Fairways terrible, greens ok but rough, no one fixes ball marks.
Poor conditions
Tired of poor course conditions. Fairways need help.
Pro shop poor customer service. Person in pro shop rude.
General manager has no clue or golf experience. Only saving grace is food/beverage staff. Stephanie, Kim and team are wonderful!
Terrible condition horrible leadership
Fairways and rough terrible. Pace of play terrible due to high rough.
Staff inside (food/beverage) excellent.
Pro shop and other staff poor customer service. Person in office named Kai, extremely rude. Need a golf person to run the place.
Place is wonderful, not sure on this review. Pace of play was good for being so busy, course was beautiful and staff great…reads like sour grapes. Just saying guy
