Legendary Run Golf Club
About
Golf architect Arthur Hills designed the Legendary Run, an affordable facility that offers country club-caliber golf in spic-and-span surroundings and with what management calls "the friendliest service in the world." Scottish links golf courses inspired the front nine of the golf course, which sits on 200 acres of land and features six lakes, and holes are named accordingly: Troon, St. Andrews and Turnberry, for some examples. It's a different story on the back nine, which weaves through woods and was influenced by holes closer to home, such as those found at Augusta, Winged Foot and Shinnecock.
Book two weeks in advance to ensure you get on for a round on the Legendary Run golf course, and leave your metal spikes at home - there's no reason to worry, as, conditions permitting, you can take your golf cart off the path if necessary. A far cry from Cincinnati's recreational golf courses, this one requires a collared shirt (mock, if you must) and non-denim pants (shorts work, too). The pro shop will dress you if need be.
A bonus for eco-thinking golfers: The Legendary Run counts itself among the members of the Audubon Sanctuary Program and enforces respect of the natural habitat.

Awesome course
Definitely very challenging. Beautiful course beautiful condition. Outstanding staff and facilities.
Great public track with lots of features
I play this course quite often. Course is in great shape this time of year! Staff is nice, little slow at times. Range is often mats only and not the greatest for practicing short game. Would recommend for a weekend golfer to try!
Legendary
The course is a nice mix of challenging but fun. Great conditions. Rough has some long stretches but not overly hard. Would recommend to anyone to play.
Legendary always among Cincy's best
Legendary continues to be 1 of the finest public courses on the East side. Excellent conditions for this early in season. From teeboxes to bunkers and greens, way better course conditions than majority in Cincy. Only other course as great right now is Elks Run, another 1 of the finest in Cincinnati. You'll enjoy the updated carts, fully stocked pro shop, spacious and clean clubhouse, excellent food from grill, and super helpful and friendly staff. If you've never been, it's totally worth the trip for an amazing golf experience. Will definitely play Legendary more this year, and considering joining their cost friendly PEP membership only 59/month for tremendous discounts.
Nice Course!
The course was very nice and challenging with speedy greens, lots of slope and some tight windows. The experience would have been better for weekend golfers had the pins not been set on the crest of ridges on so many holes. Some placements made us wonder if the staffer that set them understood the difference it makes when you place nearly all of the holes on ridges and side slopes. All-in-all it’s a great course and much improved over the past two years.
Solid, every day course to play!
Great course on the East side of Cincinnati. Conditions are typically fantastic and the holes are challenging for all levels. Driving range has been upgraded over the past few years, staff is friendly, and the 19th hole is great for tiebreakers. It gets a lot of play but you'll understand why if you play here.
Always a fun round
Great layout. Greens were fast. Couldn’t ask for better conditions for March golf in Ohio! Great course!
A Legendary Time
Went as a single and couldn’t have had a better first experience here! I can’t wait to come back!
Best value I have found in the area
Really surprised at how great this course is! We got out for $45 on a Saturday and we’re really surprised that it included lunch as well! The conditions were outstanding and the course played firm and fast. The greens were in great shape and the fairways were cut and healthy. The staff in the pro shop and on the course were all friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!!!
Best Christmas present, ever!
I've always wanted to golf year round, but living in Southwest OH makes that nearly impossible every year. Very thankful we're having a "mild winter" and was able to play at one of my favorite golf courses on Christmas weekend. Course was a great shape for this time of year. Only advice I have for those who go out is that you bump and run chip shots around the green. The tundra (aka rough) is too patchy and hard to try and flop; someone in our group just couldn't pick up on that....
