About
Blue Cypress Golf Course is a nine-hole course in Jacksonville that originally opened in the 1960s and was extensively renovated in 2003. It closed in 2015 and reopened in 2020 under new management by Indigo Golf following a multi-year closure. The course can be walked or golf carts are available for rent and features three sets of tees and plays up to 2,962 yards. The facility also has a practice facility with a 330-yard-long driving range and a 3,500-square-foot practice green for short game.

Great Staff
Pace Pace Pace every time I play here hoping it’ll be different and it never is. Staff is great but the pace of play is painfully slow and you must pray every time you hit the turn that there is not a line waiting at hole 1.
Fun fun fun
Just really enjoy playing here. $25 for 9 with a cart is just an okay price, should be a little less. Really enjoy the course though and come here often. Great course to walk.

Courses in great shape greens rolled smooth. I will definitely be back real soon highly recommend
Staff very friendly
I had scheduled a tee time for Monday morning through Golf Now, but the course was closed for maintenance. The staff offered me a discount for the next day and a free round for a later date.
GREAT LITTLE PAR 9 COURSE
STAFF GREAT FRIENDLY ,PRICE CANT BE BEAT. 7 REALLY NEED MORE GRASS.
Intro course
This is a great course to take your kids to or just want to work on your game. Most of the course was in great shape but a couple spots were pretty beat up. Greens were fast.
Good starter and practice course
If you had someone’ starting to play golf, blue cypress Is a good place for them to learn. For any avid golfer it is a good place to practice. The range is great since it has all grass tea boxes and the greens on the nine hole course are in pretty good shape for being an executive type of course.
Great value. Great course for newer golfers to get some confidence on. Great course for veteran golfers to play all the clubs in their bag.
Fun to play
Course eas in great condition for this time of the year. Greens and bunkers were excellent.
Fairways were mostly in very good condition except for some hard pan along the sides on some holes.
A pleasant surprise
Considering all the rain we have had in this area the course wasn't remarkably good shape. It has the basic driving range and putting green which were indecent shape and the only issue would be there is no starter or someone to keep track of the golfers coming around to play the second nine. It is just walk up or drive up to the T to play your second round of 9 if you were playing 18 for the day. Overall I would give it a four-star for being a city/county golf course.
Getting even better
Fairways are growing in more, but they cut the greens closer and their rolling great. ☺️ Still slow as usual, but always enjoyable waiting in the tree shade.
Fun course
Great staff. One of the best around jax. Fun course and great value! It was a lot of fun and good course to work on your game. Obviously some dead spots and dirt but that’s the time of year. I’ll be back soon
