Cecil Field Golf Club
About
Fiddler's Green at Cecil Field Golf Club is located at the Cecil Commerce Center, formerly the Cecil Field Naval Air Station. The golf course was built in 1975 and has been managed by Capstone Golf since 2005.
Fiddler's Green is a regulation 18-hole course in a beautiful tree-lined setting with no development on its borders. The course offers a stern challenge, measuring 6,643 yards from the championship tees. The course rating is 71, and it has a slope rating of 125.
Towering pines shape the course as it weaves its way around the serene natural setting. Fiddler's Green's generous fairways leave challenging approach shots to some of the smallest putting greens in the area.

Very dangerous carts
Carts had almost no brakes. Course was fine, would have been in much better condition had the government not shut down the airfield year ago. Frisbee golf going on at the same time.
This place sucks
Let me start with the golf cart no breaks, the field was the worst condition I have play in my lifetime the greens it was so bad and the Tee box no grass.
Cecil Field
This course has seen it's better days but if you can get it cheap enough it's worth golfing it's really a $10 course.
Needs work
I liked the course layout, but it needs lots of work to be nice again. Carts are junk and forget about even trying to read a putt. Needs major TLC.
Course needs some work
The condition of the greens were in bad shape with an unpredictable roll due to the mud and crabgrass that controlled the direction. The fairways were also lacking real fairway grass but instead had crabgrass and weeds it was sometimes hard to even see your ball when it was in the fairway. It was a nice place to practice golf if you have people that have not golfed much. It was wide open with no one pressuring us from behind. The layout of the course was very good- just needed some tlc (maybe an extra groundskeeper). I’ve seen the course in much better shape on previous visits.
Fairways were not kept up to par couldn't tell where the fairways and the rough started mended greens are not kept up to par but that's to be expected for what we paid for the course so not really complaining just need to have people take care of the course better for others that way the overall experience could change for everyone but all in all a fair day on the golf course beats a crappy day at work
Wasted Time and Money
The course is a piece of *&^ Played one hole and walked away. fair ways not mowed, greens like semi shag carpet. I've been in out-houses that were kept better than the restrooms.
Definitely would never play her again nor will I recommend.
A shame
Look im not comparing this to any other golf course..The price is not good for what you get.you can play a way better course for nearly the same price..I went an they cater to the disc golf people. They need to get this place in better shape if they want to charge money...I grew up play here an worked here as a teen when it was in its prime..Would like to see it back again..fingers crossed
Cecil field trip
The course is in rough shape The greens are really bad but the bang the ball around and have some fun That's about what this place is good for.
Hope
Good course to practice your rough spots in your game.
OldGuy
Fairways mowed. A few wet spots. Greens bumpy and fast. Sand traps in good shape. Cart paths good. This is a good course for an average golfer. Played for less than $1 a hole. No challenge for a scratch golfer. Will play again.
Fiddler's Green
The people are friendly the course is only a two-star course could use a lot of maintenance but if you can get it cheap enough go for it.
