West/East at Glenview Golf Course
About
Golfers who choose to golf the West and East golf courses at the Glenview Golf Course are looking at a layout that measures 6,911 yards from the Black tees - the longest possible 18-hole combination on the golf course.
Golfers who go West Course to East Course at the Glenview Golf Course will tee off on a par 4 that measures 427 yards from the Black tees. Things get long on the West Course's third hole, which plays to 547 yards from the Black tees and is one of four holes on the golf course to travel such a distance. The East Course's final hole is one of these, coming in at 563 yards from the Black tees, making it the longest hole on the golf course.
Because the Glenview Golf Course is a public golf course, golfers who choose a walking route during the week can golf dirt-cheap.

Always a good option
Quality course with great routing. Choose the correct tees, it can get very challenging.
Conditions are great right now
besides the greens being a little slow the rest of the course was great. The pace of play for a Wednesday mid-day was very slow...people need to learn the etiquette of golf and let people play through if you are not playing at the pace of play. I love this course and will play it again soon.
Nice round
I enjoyed my 9 holes but the fairway grass was too long and especially the cut right outside the greens. But it was like that on all 9 holes so I adapted...
Plays well after it rains
Great course too play, our foresome played on memorial day after a heavy rain. The course drained well and I played the best round of this year (87)
Good course to play
Great condition for being December..Was a fast round not to many people out playing that day..Booked on golf now .Good price..
Glenview says they only do 9 holes with Golf Now
When I arrived at the course and checked in I asked the guy at the clubhouse which two nines we would be playing. He told me that Glenview only books 9 hole tee times with Golf Now. My cost was supposed to be $20.00 even but he charged 20.and change. I like Glenview but I don't thin Ill use Golf Now to book again if they are only letting you play nine. The East side was BACKED UP. it was well over 2 hours to play
Best greens in Cincinnati
The course is in very good condition. The greens were in excellent condition but were a little slow. The course is not long or extremely challenging, perfect for most hackers. All holes are well marked.
Not what it used to be
I've played this course many times. Once it was one of the premier public courses in Cincy. Sadly, management has chosen to fill in many of the bunkers on the South and West courses. I assume this was to make it less costly to maintain. Many of the remaining bunkers were in terrible shape. I only saw one that was being rehabbed.
Fairways and greens were in pretty decent shape, but they have many dead ash trees to take out as a result of the emerald ash borer. They detract from the appearance of the course.
I won't go back this year.
Course is in great shape
Played on a Monday morning and it wasn't busy at all. Staff was friendly upon check in. Maintenance crew also gave helpful hints on where to place tee shot on a par 5. Course was in great shape, greens were very nice. Would definitely recommend to a friend
Good course
Performance by cost is good.
I want to play here again!
Eagle putt!
Everyone knows glenview in the Cincy area. Undebatably Best Public/City track....only issus is getting on....Spring golf in this part of the country. On the West track there is a shortish par-4 (gets a bit longer every time I tell the story)....low 300's with a down-hill slop. Trouble left, yet still begs you to go for it...
Drove the green and was left with a 15-ft eagle putt. Off course I was NOT going for it, on a sloping green, chickened out and layed up for a tap-in birdie! Made my rnd...don't remember what I shot on the other holes...who cares! Fun track.

Great Public Course
I don't know how this course doesn't get better ratings. The East is OK, but the West is above average and the South is fantastic. For less than $30 on golfnow, it is a steal. We were matched up with two great guys from Lima and had a blast. Nice staff, nice conditions, and fun. Highly recommend.
nice course
First time playing there, fun course, will be back to play the other 9, course was in good condition for the time of year it was and following the winter we had
Average bang for your buck
Good layout, above average shape. Bunkers need sand, not dirt or clay
Nasty starter
We were 5 minutes late when checking in with starter. I shouldn't have peed. The starter yelled and lectured how he could not get us off because we were late. Usually on the weekends at this course, it's a little slow teeing off. Yesterday, Thursday, there was no one but the starter says he can't get us off because he had a group at 12:08. There were no other names on list. So then, Larry, the starter, yells, "well you're not going til 12:45. I said, there's no one on your list, the parking lot is empty, why 12:45. "Because you were late."
I have seen this starter go off on others and now we have decided not to place this course ever again. We have been late a couple other times over the years and have never been yelled at like this guy yesterday. Consequently I went back in and got a refund. I do not recommend this course when there are so many other options. We did go down the street and played at one of the other courses(which is a nicer course).
Course in good shape, slow play
Course was in great shape, slow play, very slow play, course was packed, should in the future not put so many groups out, if they are going to, get the ranges out and do there job, very very slow play
sand traps need help
Course was in ok condition. I would think the price would be cheaper than $45 for the condition
Greedy course
They pack the course full so the pace of play is 5+hrs. The greens are slow and the bunkers need sand.
Overbooked and Slow Play!!
Course (27 holes) seemed overbooked with tee times and a local bars yearly golf outing. Early morning pace of play, plus the outing, forced us to only play nine holes (over 2.5 hours to play nine). We had a 30 minute delay to start our round and a 45-60 minute wait to make the turn due to the pace of play and the outing. Pro shop would not issue a rain check because I booked the tee time through GolfNow.com. The last time I played Glenview, we had to play the same nine twice (East) as the South and West courses were too crowded. Frustrating course to play on the weekend.
Great condition with all the rain
This course is in great shape right now. We played a 1 hour 20 min front nine because we started at 715 but the back was incredibly slow. The staff is always great here but the pace of play is usually pretty slow because of all the slopes and the trees. They should either not let so many people on course or make the marshals actually do their job. Running this track while everything is so plush is as must
Had similar issue, booked with Golfnow for first time (last year). I found excellent price for 18 holes @ Glenview on a Saturday. Upon arrival I produced my confirmation with price and was told it was not correct, that it was a nine hole price not 18. Then I was told they do not do 9 holes only on week-end. I asked how I would have confirmation, the guy became agitated and said I if want to play I would pay the same price as everyone else, not true, factoring in my charge for booking, I paid more than anyone in Cincinnati to play Glenview that day.
