Up North Feel closer to home
Great layout in great condition. As good as anything we have played all year.
Horrible experience
Not necessarily the courses fault. But the actions of the foursome who thought they owned the place, and the ranger who made it perfectly clear to me that singles have no rights on the golf course, led to me leave the course after 12 holes. Something I've never done before in my life. That foursome skipped the 11th hole to get in front of me and leapfrogged at least 2 foursomes in the process. All without even going through the motions of asking for permission. As a single whose playing partners left after 9 holes, I caught back up to them immediately and let them know how displeased I was at their actions and lack of effort to try to stay well ahead of the people they passed. They and the ranger put the blame on me. Whatever. Enjoy your course. I'll never return.
A diamond in the rough
Excellent course conditions and an engaging playout. I think the 120 slope from the whites is a bit underrated. Several holes have challenging carrys over creeks and wetlands crossing the fairways. Bring your A game!
Great layout, but not for the timid
This highly rated course did not disappoint. Challenging layout, perfect conditions, welcoming staff. But at age 76; playing from the whites, I found the slope to be underrated with the many contours and carrys more than I could handle. And for first timers, be sure to get the course booklet from the pro shop as there are several hidden challenges just over the next hill crest.
Immaculate
The course was in immaculate condition- fairway, second cut, rough and greens were all cut perfectly- beautiful views on all holes, was a truly great experience playing here and would highly recommend.
Golf Review
course was in great condition, staff was friendly and helpful. Up north feel but close to home.
PACE: Paired up with another single, and we moved along just fine. The single in front of us would've benefitted from playing thru the 3-some ahead of him, but he seemed content.
CONDITIONS: Tees, fairways, greens, and bunkers all is great condition.
STAFF: Got me paid and out on the first tee. No starter/ranger for the afternoon on Sunday, which seemed unusual.
LAYOUT: Fun design. Played over a ravine early in the round. The back 9 toys around some slight elevations changes, which was fun. I took a cart for my first round, but would walk next time I play it.
Up North Feel
It’s a fun course. Tricky, fast greens. Seems like you are farther up north playing the course. It would be cool if the par 3s were more challenging, like 180 + yards, or hitting from elevated tee.
I will definitely go off blue tees next time.
Fantastic course for the cost !!
The course is fantastic very well maintained and the staff is polite and helpful. Thank you !!
