This was the first time I played this course. When I arrived I couldn't have had a better first impression. As I checked in I was greeted and led to the first tee by a starter that went over the course history and course conditions. This gentleman was polite, courteous and represented the course well.
As for the course. That is where things got a little interesting. The fairways were in good shape and cut. Although they had 2 inches of rain or more the night before. Cart path only was expected. Once you arrived at the greens it was another story. I'm not sure what has happened, but over half of the greens looked burnt out with spots and patches.
This was disappointing to say the least. I would think this should have been mentioned before the round.
Finally, except for the previous mentioned gentleman and the woman running the food area, I felt as if I was an inconvenience to every other person there. I waited over 5 minutes for the pro shop attendant after my round to acknowledge I was there so I could return someone's ping red dot 8 iron I had found on the course. I know he could have cared less but if I lost one of my clubs I would hope someone would return it rather than post it on ebay.
I also understand the course may now be under new ownership, if so I suggest reviewing personnel at this course and making some changes. There are many courses in the columbus area that would love my money.

Great layout for a links course. Being high and open makes it feel like you are playing in the UK. Course is having issues with dead spots on and around greens. They have adjusted the cost appropriately due to these conditions. $22 for 18 and a cart. Well worth it for that price.

Upon arriving my group was informed the front nine greens had been holed and the back nine was being done & sanded. We could play the front 2 times, wait for the back to be finished and play then or contact Golf Now for a refund. The fairways had lots of dry and brown areas and were in less than good condition.

It would have been good to be informed of all this before making our tee times and we would have chosen a different course for this round.

I played on a Tuesday morning so it wasn't very busy yet. The course was in terrible shape, hardly any grass in fairways and brown patches everywhere. The greens were extremely slow, they looked like they hadn't been mowed in days. There were brown patches on all or most of the greens also. They said that they were aerating the back 9 so we had to play the front twice. (They took $10 off) The greens looked like they had been aerated also, dimples on all greens ball was bouncing, not rolling to the cup. Also, none of the bunkers had been raked (in weeks it appeared). Weeds were growing in some of them.

This is sad because it is such a great environmental concept, playing on a "landfill with a great view of the city. I hope they can get things turned around, but I won't be back this year.

This is for Golfnow staff, as a golfer I would like for you to be able to indicate on your web page when we are booking a round if a course is or has recently been aerated. Since we don't talk directly to the pro shop when booking through Golfnow, we can disappointedly show up to a course that is being aerated when we could have chosen a different course if we had this knowledge at the time of booking. This course used to be a decent track, the staff have let it go, the fairways are hardpan at best, the greens are pathetic, like putting through grass in your front yard. I hadn't played it in a few years and it use to be a ok course for the price, it is now unplayable. Do not play this course.

Bring your driver to the putting surface. I assume the greens crew are fixing issues with their mowers by growing out all the scalping that must have occurred recently on a large percentage of the putting surfaces. It was like putting on moss growing on sand dunes. We were also discouraged by how hard the tee boxes were and by their general condition.

I had pledged to not return after past experiences at the course and obviously I will be renewing that pledge.

You must make sure to hit fairways or it is going to be a long day and costly Make sure to bring plenty of golf balls.

Bunkes were hard. Needed raking. Ball washers empty. Great unique course. Great view of downtown Columbus. A little TLC and I think great fun course.

The course was beautiful and well maintained except for a few places where it looked like they were doing some sort of construction and that fact that all of the bunkers should be played as ground under repair, due to a lack of raking. Pace of play was atrocious and lacked sever golf etiquette. Rangers were rude as they sent people off to play. Our cart could barely make it up the hills. Left a lot to be desired for $38 a round. We left after 13 holes. Not going to return either.

Enjoyed the course. Great staff and service. Course was in good shape with good pace play.

Love the layout of the course, lots of interesting holes, and a great repurposing of the old dump. The views of downtown on a clear day are excellent from many of the holes. Many bunkers are in disrepair at the moment, which is disappointing because there are many of them on the course. Greens are good shape for the most part (most of 14 was dead for some reason). Overall worth the money to play.

This course is linkestyle golf course. If wind blows under 15 mile / houre very comfotable

Course condition was very good...as long as you stayed within 15' of the fairway. Venture beyond that zone and the clover and weeds are higher than ankle deep. No chance of finding your own ball...but will probably stumble on 3 or 4 others.

We'll chalk up the overall condition to a wet spring and give them a mulligan. However, the traps are in very bad shape. Stay out of them!!!

Ranger is more worried about hitting balls in between golfers and letting people play through "FIRST TIME GOLFERS"! How are you going to have the 2nd group on the course be first time golfers?

After receiving 3.5 inches of rain in the last day and a half the course was still in excellent shape and still quick. I will go back this summer and try it in drier conditions. I would highly recommend it.

We (twosome) played golf through booking Last Minute, a day before, starting 10:04 AM. The course was in good condition. Pace was good. The course requires focus to play on the fairway and avoid bunkers. It was excellent vaule at $17.49 with cart at 10:04 tee-up time. Excellent view of City of Columbus with high-rise buildings from the course. It reminded me the Brickyard at Indianapolis Speedway. Thank you,

I played the course...or tried to...yesterday. The staff, as always, is friendly and helpful. I was a bit disappointed with the threesome if knuckleheads playing in front of me. It was raining so there was no need for Marshalls, or shouldn't have been. But after 4 holes of waiting on these idiots to allow me to play through...I quit after only getting in 8 holes. No reflection on the course, just a note to others to respect the game. I'll be back to play again

Windy day. Greens were hard and bare in places.
Traps uncared for.. Some had little or no sand. I love this course, but it requires maintenance attention.

A lot of what you are paying for is location. This is one of the closest courses to downtown Columbus. Wide open links course with no trees. Surprised how dry the course is in April with all the rain we've had. Lots of elevation changes which adds to the challenge but otherwise an easy course. Try it out if you can find a deal online. Otherwise, course fees are very overpriced.
