As good or better than similar priced courses. I was told on the phone that eats were avail. Bur, eatery was closed.

Course could be interesting but it is in terrible shape. From the tee boxes to the greens the course needs some serious help.

They even lot me go as a single.

The course was in pretty good shape, the greens on the front nine needed a little help but that was mainly due to the slope and water running off the surface quickly. Back nine greens were good, fairways were decent, some tee boxes needed some help. Starter was helpful getting the twosome I was playing in out in front of a foursome. Pace of play was okay, front nine went well, but got backed up on the final nine holes. Overall a pretty good experience

Still need some work done, but they are working on it. Great atmosphere, lots of hills. Magnificent panoramic Lake Mineola views. Gas cart a little bit to slow or maybe it was just mine.
Won't find a better deal these days. I will definitely play it again.

I used to golf here a lot 8-10 years ago and this was one of the premier golf courses in clermont. I was shocked to see the quality of the course now. The greens were absolutely atrocious and the fairways weren't much better. The driving range was also horrible and ridden with weeds, not a good spot anywhere to practice. The staff was very nice and the carts and other equipment seem to be good. A shame to see how this course has spiraled out of control.

Most of the greens were in terrible shape. Most of the fairways were also in poor shape. Even the sand traps were not great - too hard and compacted, not fluffy. What happened to the lush beautiful course that I used to play here from a few years ago. They have really let it go down hill!

Our last day of vacation before our retirement we decided to play a new course. We booked palisades because of an inexpensive price (16 each for 18). The course was quite difficult for me (28 handicap lady) with one par three of 108 yards containing a large lake left, a small lake right, and a very large tree dead middle between tee and green. Unless you are a very solid golfer, your only option is a perfect shot, or aim for the tree and hope you miss. Many of the fairways were covered either in weeds or were bare, and the greens had very little grass. A par 5 was very difficult due to a very large lake all the way left with the hole curving around it...very pretty! But very little grass all the way around and trouble right as well.

The staff was very friendly with a cart attendant who brought the cart to our car and picked it up when we were done. We did not eat so I cannot comment on the food or prices. We actually left before 18 due to slow pace (not awful) and time restraints.

The price is right and the course is in good shape. Had a very enjoyable time

For the last two years my wife and I have taken a membership for the month of march while we were in that part of Florida on vacation. We are from nova Scotia and have been goingdown for five years now. We have always found the staff to be very helpful and polite. This past march we found that the course was in very good condition. We golf quite a lot in the ten weeks we are in Florida and look forward to returning to palisadpalaces in March of 2016. Mick & Lill O'Hearn

Sometime the risk is not worth the reward . A well placed shot may be better then going for it

This course probably could be the best course in the area, but is terribly neglected and has been for a long time. Nobody is monitoring the pace of play, so it takes at least 5 hours to play a round of golf. We waited forever on each hole. I know it was cheap and you always get what you pay for.

Typically play Palisades about 6-8 times a year but this was first time in 2015. Course was in pretty good condition. Greens were in better shape than some other more pricey courses.

The course was i average shape for March golf everthing needs to green up. The greens were in good shape with only a few dead spots. The fairways need to fill in but we're ok.we will play again.

Many of the nearby courses are charging high rates in the peak season, this is a great place to play a round for a good rate

Pace of play was poor. Course still needs some work. Only saw cart person once in 18 holes & that was on back 9.

Very fun course, conditions are on par with other courses in this price range. Layout is excellent, I had a very good time playing this course.

The greens are really bad, Fungus have done a number on them some of the fairways are still bad,Seems like they still are having irrigation problems....................

This course was dried up, fairways hard and sparse on grass. The greens were diseased and very bumpy. Will not go back until reviewed suggest considerable improvement has been made. Basically don't waste your money.
