As an intermediate golfer I like my golf to provide a challenge without being too difficult. Kings Ridge Kings course certainly provides this. Very well presented with strategically placed, well prepared bunkers,, this parkland type course requires planned shots, Stay on the generally wide fairways and you are fine, but stray off and you can find shots a challenge. The greens were a bit fluffy and slower than I am used to but just provide another challenge.
On a very hot day we started at 10.20 and rarely saw anyone else. Staff were friendly and helpful, no GPS on buggies but the course was fairly easy to navigate. On course washrooms and plenty of water points, no refreshment cart. No locker rooms for after game freshen which on a hot day is a big disappointment (but the only one) Well worth a visit.
The course was in pretty good shape considering all of the rain we have had lately. Greens were running a little slow, but rolled true. Fairways were in good shape, tee boxes were being mowed while we were playing.
Today was a great day for golf, the course was in excellent condition, the price was right .will be ready to do it again soon.
challenging course but fair have to know where to miss with tee shots
I always enjoy this course only one water hole,. Course can bite you if you miss your tee shot on the wrong side . Course always in good condition.
Great Day of Golf
The course was in great shape and the speed of play was excellent.
Definitely not worth the money
This course is not worth the time to play. The course obviously didn’t let golfnow know that they aerated the greens and when I showed up with my friend and brother they said that the back nine was closed because they were aerating the greens. That kind of put me off to a bad start because I wasn’t expecting this at all. We had to play the front nine twice which stinks to play. The greens were horrible to putt on due to the aeration they did the day before and secondly they put a lot of sand on the greens which didn’t help the putting at all. Honestly, if they had stated that they were aerating the greens I would of paid a little extra to play somewhere else. The course was kind of burnt out, but the ball rolled well in the fairway. That’s the only plus I would of given this course. Other than that I would not waste my money and play there. Look at another course that would be better.
FAIR DAY KINGS RIDGE CHAMP COURSE
COURSE NOT BAD GREENS SLOW SEVERAL GREENS WERE BEING LOST OF GRASS
Not even close. More like one star. Very nice layout but needs lots of tender loving care. Tees and greens need the most. And the gentleman in the pro shop needs to learn how to treat customers. Play again ( I Didn't Think So )
