Ranger needed
I love playing this course. My wife and I enjoy it so much it’s her favorite because it not too long or hard for her to play. That’s the good now here is what’s needed. A course ranger is needed to pick up the pace of play.
Slow Play is the game of the day
When it takes four hours to play the Ridge course, that's slow play. When you are sitting waiting for the group ahead of you to play longer that you are actually playing the hole, that's slow play. Wait 17 minutes and play the hole in 9 minutes. They need to put a ranger to keep thing moving. They get your greens fees and forget about you on the course. SLOW PLAY.
Executive Course at Kingsridge
Interesting layout at Kingsridge Executive Course.
Fairways a bit scrappy, but greens were in excellent shape. Good value for the price.
First time at this course
Interesting playing an executive course. It was a first for me. The topography was a challenge. Fairways were not in great shape. All of the greens were good except on the first hole. It definitely helped work on my short game, which unfortunately needs work. It was a good change of pace for me.
Always a pleasure to get on the ridge coarse. Great golf and great staff at kings ridge.
Great for short game
A solid 4 maybe 4.5. I enjoyed playing Kings Ridge. A short executive course with lots of elevation changes and a few nice par 4s. Conditions were very good with maybe the exception of some tee boxes. Greens were very nice for the price paid. Recommended for tuning up your short game. Peculiarities include that you need to check in at the main clubhouse and take your cart on about a 10 minute expedition through the neighborhood to get to the exec course. Obviously, not enough business to constantly staff the second clubhouse. There was also no starter so you can go when you want, but this could be a problem if you are not part of a full foursome. Make sure you get the restroom code before you leave check in

Very good experience for the cost. The views are beautiful!
I will never go back
We were 30 minutes late for our tee time as we were standing at the cart shack for 40 minutes waiting for a cart. We had to travel at least a mile to get to the number 1 tee box of the executive course. The staff did not tell us the code to the restroom and only the reservation number picked up the phone and they didn’t know it. There was no water available at the clubhouse (or on the course for that matter) without standing in a line of five people to wait for the man collecting money in the pro shop to give us water. No cart person, no food to be eaten at the clubhouse. The greens were ridiculously slow. The course fairways were weeds and grass . Save your money. Go elsewhere.
Not enough carts=long wait times
Waited 45 minutes ( past T time) to get a golf cart. Course was also backed up. Staff in clubhouse were not friendly at all. Powerades were $4 each. Overall we had a very poor experience and won’t go back.
