The Golf Club of Jupiter
About
Founded in 1940, the Golf Club of Jupiter is one of the town's oldest golf clubs. It is a local favorite that is still a pretty well kept secret from the rest of the state. It is not the most challenging layout that low handicappers will ever encounter, but it is a quick, playable round with excellent service and a friendly atmosphere. There are some water hazards that come into play, but nothing too demanding, and there are a few strategically placed bunkers throughout. The front nine is slightly shorter and less challenging than the back nine but overall, beginners would not feel overwhelmed. In addition to the course, the Golf Club of Jupiter also has a driving range where they use floating balls into a lake.

Going downhill
I first played this course 3 years ago as a visitor to the area. I have probably played there at least a dozen times and am now a resident in nearby Palm Beach Gardens. I have seen the condition of the course deteriorating steadily, especially the greens. I doubt that I will play again with the fees being out of whack with the course conditions.
Interesting, easy course
Greens and tees in poor shape. Layout and pace of play was good. Not particularly tough course but many holes interesting and challenging due water, sand and topography
Good and bad
Course is well laid out. Front nine very friendly for beginner or average golfer. Back nine much longer and challenging.. Sand was good in traps.
Greens were below average. Carts did not have GPS. Pace of play ok front nine was OK, but got behind a very slow foursome on back. There were no course marshalls attending to pace of play, thus it was the waiting game every shot.
Course does have a friendly staff and a good bar/restaurant. Nice putting green. Cups and ice water available at start and turn. Clean restrooms in clubhouse. No restrooms on course. Driving range has mats and rubber tees. You hit into water. There is not a chipping area.
Nice local course
Played 18 holes. Did on line booking. Helpful, friendly staff. Paired with another twosome. Back nine much longer and more difficult.
Not as costly as some. $50 is a lot for cart paths that are full of holes and bumps.
The greens have improved greatly with overseeding. Fairways are sparse. Some grass, some hardpan. Not exactly lush. The holes and bumps in the cartpaths have been mentioned to people in charge but no change since last summer. If you have a bad back stay away ! Everyone complains but no one acts. Bad management prevails. Spend some $$ and get some fill. I am sure that the superintendant would spread it.
Decent course
This par 71 is is nice condition. Not very interesting and not very challenging. I did enjoy playing it, by myself in 2 hours.
Great place
Great course with friendly people. I'll come back.
Fast pace
My wife and I got there just after a shower so we were alone on the course. 2 1/2 hours later we finished. Great afternoon.
scenic & challenging
great staff and challenging course. Their grilled spicy chicken sandwich is the best...
Great place
Very nice relaxing atmosphere. People are great, will play there often while we are in Jupiter
Jupiter
Very fun round. Under 4 hours. Staff was excellent from the cart girl to club house staff. I can't wait to go back. I played this course in March, and it is in much better condition now. Good value!
Friendly & well kept
Enjoyable round.
Fairways are tight. Stated distance is misleading. Mot holes play longer. Example, par 3 are posted as 130 -140, play 160.
Short but nice course
The front nine was very short. Back nine was normal length. Fairways and tee boxes ok but greens too slow. Nice layout.
Meh... Kind of Chewed Up
If you can't get a tee time, are a beginner, or can't afford to play anywhere else, then this is your course.
Greens are patchy in spots. Many fairways have no distinction between fairway and rough.
Lots of water and opportunities to hit your ball into traffic.
Maybe I just plain missed it, but you get your snacks at the very busy bar in the clubhouse. (Is that a Florida thing? No snack bar?)
Staff were all friendly.
Great sandwiches!
Not really the title you want for a golf course review, but the layout is only okay. The staff are super friendly, and the pace of play was good. Nice bang for buck for this time of year.
Tight with rounded tee boxes
Nice layout. People were friendly enough. It looks to be a good lunch place close to the pro shop but I didn't eat there.
The course is extremely tight. There is one hole with the left and right fairway bunkers only five yards apart. Houses are close enough to the green that if your approach is off a bit you will meet people that you didn't intend to.
The course plays extremely short. It is a big step up from an executive course however.
A Perfect Day to Play Golf
The course is more challenging than it looks. The clubhouse is very homey and friendly, and the food is good and reasonable. Overall, it's a fun play to play.
Tight but fun to play: friendly staff. Can be very good value.
Great value when using GolfNow to make reservations. Very accomodating staff.
Nice friendly course
Bobby is an excellent pro who helped me a great deal in a half hour. The food and drink is all good and reasonable, and the course for my skill level is challenging.
Jupiter a good Golfing experience!
Course has some beautiful holes, great bunkering and offers a good and fair challenge.for intermediate/mid handicap golfer.
