Only exception was the unexpected, shortened menu when we went to grab a bite after the round.

No starter. No ranger. Unacceptable pace of play, and lack luster clubhouse. Beautiful course, well maintained, staff were nice as could be. Greens need some attention, but otherwise well maintained and challenging/fun.
A friend and I paid above average green fees, nd drove almost two hours, were paired (on our own volition) two nice folks, but had singles and doubles in front and behind us all day. One gentleman ahead of us played two balls with a backed up coarse behind him…no management on site to help with pace of play.

Chestatee was one of the more challenging courses I have played due mostly to its up and down terrain. Very scenic with many uphill and downhill shots. Well worth a trip!

First, clubhouse staff (Josh) was very helpful. We had a mix up with our tee time and he worked it out for us. Course was generally in decent shape for March. Hadn't fully greened up yet. A tad wet, but understandable based on previous days of rain, but not soggy. Greens were rolling very nicely and receptive. This was my first time here and I'll be back. Overall good course.

I have played this course several times and it is always an enjoyable time, well except for holes number 8&9, which have my number!
The course was in good shape, 2 holes were cart path only due to the previous rain, and the pace of play was good (slowed down a bit after the cart pace 5 but picked up about 3 holes later).

Drove two hours here this morning to play and when we showed up to the course for a 930 tee time no one was at the course. Pro pulled in about 9 yelled from afar were closed for the day and when into the pro shop and locked the door. Really disappointed with the service here, it was wet yes but to no notify the people with tee times is absolutely ridiculous. They are closing in April for the year for renovations I wouldn’t waste your time with this dump

Greens are very inconsistent with multiple types of grass. In addition, the practice green was mowed/rolled at a much faster speed than the course greens.
The pace of play was awful. The course allowed the group in front of us to play as a 5-some. The result was a 2+30 front 9. Ruined our day. We would have quit after 9 except that group stopped at 9.

When we drove up we knew something was going on. Was disappointed when we were told they would soon shut down for 6 months for renovations. So you know they were not doing any upkeep like they normally would be. Im sure after renovations rates will go up. I wish GolfNow would make players aware of these type situations before making tee times.

Went as single and starter got me in with a group of regulars and had a great time. This is February so course was as well as can be expected when dormant. Cart path had a number of repaired / replaced sections which is a good reflection on the management. Bunkers were inconsistent some fine others with pebbles and large rocks.
