About
Sprawling across over 270 acres, Crown Hill Golf Club boasts a scenic landscape of gently rolling hills covered with mature trees, streams, and ponds. Unlike many other courses in the central Ohio area that are much flatter in nature, the layout features a variety of elevation changes that makes each hole unique. The golf course wanders across deep ravines and grassy meadows that enhance both the game and the scenery. Four ponds as well as the State Run Creek provide a majority of the water hazards that come into play. Since opening, the course has had length added to it to appeal more to low handicappers, but the degree of difficulty has been slightly decreased on some holes as well to make it more approachable for beginners. There are also four sets of tees that make the course even more accommodating.

This course has very ,very nice fairways and greens.
The people working at this course are very people friendly. The course is in really good condition. The club house is very nice. The holes are very interesting. The back 9 are a little more challenging. I would tell my friends that this is an enjoyable place to play for the money value. It is about 1hour drive for us but I would like to play it again. Very easy to drive from the Lancaster area.

Fairways where nice , greens good. Not a bad layout but a few too many blind shots.

This course is also fun to play. Just 3 of us and they were not busy so we finished in less than 3.5 hours. The course was in super shape, rough was tough (but it is suppose to be) and the sand bunkers were dry and soft. The fairways and greens were in super shape. I love the layout of this couse.

Course plays fairly long for the average player,
but every tee box, fairway, green, was virtually
immaculate. The staff was very friendly and

the thirty minute drive to this course is always well worth it! the course is always one of the best maintained courses we play around central ohio. Some very fun holes on this course. Still think it makes more sense to switch the back nine to the front , and vice versa.
Greens kept in great condition
One of nicest courses in the area. Greens in great shape. Hole 11 has a great tee box above fairway. I really enjoyed playing this course. Great deal.
You have to think
The course was in good condition. This is not a driver wedge course so you have to think before reaching for the driver on several holes. Pace of play was excellent on a Sunday morning with no waiting
challenging and well maintained
Course is always in great shape and enjoying to play. Would play it a lot more if it was closer to my location.
Fun tee boxes
Green are fast and challenging, Par 3's are fun and give a good chance to score well
The 18th hole is the signature hole and always leaves you wanting to play more golf when your done.
The rolling hills at Crown hill and the back to back par 5s a nine and ten keep you on your toes. This course is one of the the best between Cincinnati and Columbus.
Superb Course: One of the better ones I've played on
A really great course. Had a great time playing this course. Some of the holes were difficult and some were fairly easy. Smart decisions on the course resulted in great opportunities for pars and birdies. Definitely want to return and play again.
Grounds & Greens
The course was in great shape. Greens were perfect. Fairway could have been mowed again & the rough was a bit high but if you were in the rough it was not impossible to hit a decent shot.

This course offers several differnet styles of holes and lets you use every club in your bag. For the money it is hard to beat!!

The course is a bit of a drive, but this family owned is in great shape for early April! Everything is so green. This is worth the money and the drive.....

This course has very fun holes.
This course is a lot of fun unless you don't like blind shots. It is set up very "naturally" using the topography cleverly so there are a number of unusual shot selections, but therein lies the fun. It is a well-kept country course which is off the beaten track. I imagine this makes it a little bit of a secret. It's spacious, no two holes are the same, the greens are challenging, and it provides a very enjoyable day on the links.
