The Links At Lighthouse Sound
About
The Links at Lighthouse Sound is an Arthur Hills-designed golf course that covers a scenic and varied terrain. Hills took advantage of not only the beautiful views afforded by the course's location right along the Assawomen Bay, but also the natural diversity of the terrain. He routed the front nine along the bay while the back nine borders the St. Martin's River, through mature hardwoods and pristine marshland. The golf course is home to the longest cart bridge in the country, stretching almost 1,500 feet to bring golfers from the bay-side holes to the marshland holes. It is also the only course in the U.S. with five consecutive holes playing to the same double green. The signature hole is the par-3 fifth, which requires a carry over a marsh to a nearly island green bordered by water on three sides.

Top Course in Maryland
Masterpiece ...I've played all of the best courses in Maryland. This is number one!
Challenging with good view of ocean city
We really enjoyed the course. It was challenging and fair. Pretty views of ocean city Maryland and the bay.
fantastic course
This is a great course in excellent condition. A must play in OCM
A Most Play!!
Wow, what a revelation this course. Love the lay out the views are stunning and the condition was perfect. Variety of hole is perfect to me.
Awesome experience
Great course we where able to get out early & finished the round in under four hours great place to play.
Awesome
This place was both beautiful and challegening...Highly recommended to anyone in the area
Nice Course - Pace of Play Slow
Nice course, good condition with great views. Played behind Judge Smails and Spalding. Pace of play below average. Only saw ranger once during entire round.
Ct golfer
My son and I played this course from the blues and had a great round. Course was in "ok" condition due to a lot of rain earlier in the morning. Driving range was closed so we could only chip and putt to warm up. Would like to play it in dry conditions as it looks like it has a lot of character.
Love the Lonks at Light House Sound
Fabulous and beautiful course. Take pictures if you can!
OC golf
Friends recommended this course for us to try while we were on our OC vacation. We were not disappointed. The staff were very helpful in preparing us to fully enjoy our experience.
The course was challenging but easy enuogh to make some pars. The course is well maintained and has many beautiful views of the bay as well as the OC skyline.
We will be back to play this course on our next OC visit.
One of the best in the area
Lighthouse Sound is a beautiful course with a split personality - holes 2-7, which play right next to the bay, have fantastic views and howling winds, while the rest of the course (especially 9-18) are further inland and very different. But both parts are great, a very nice design with plenty of challenge. The bayside holes are tough when the wind's blowing, and it's always blowing. Greens are medium speed but roll very true. Course was in excellent condition overall. Staff was very friendly, and the clubhouse is very nice (good food, too.) We'll be back.
YES
My favorite course to play in OC. Course in great shape with many tee box options for different levels of players.
Pricey but well worth the extra $. Can't beat the scenery when the shots are being blown all over the place!
I will be back....
A MUST PLAY
As always an excellent staff with remarkable service. Course is in fantastic shape. A must add course to your bucket list!
great course
Course was in excellent condition. Played mid afternoon, and pace of play was wonderful, 3.5 hours. Highly recommend this course.
Outstanding!
Definitely my personal favorite in OC MD. The course was in great condition, and played tough as usual from the blended tees, but I much prefer them to the Golds.
Still a must play in OC
Lighthouse is still a top 5 in OC. Where it ranked will depend on your preferences. I have it #3 behind Peninsula (private but can play with Victory Golf Pass) and Bayside. Best views by far! Most difficult, as well, if it is a windy day. Not a good place to let your ego pick your tees or it will be a long miserable day. Great staff from bag drop to Pro. The pro Scot Dailey is the most down to earth Pros you will ever meet.
The only negative is I must have followed the "let's NOT fix our ball marks" tour. I fixed at least 3 per hole. I think I might have to regrip my digit tool! Its hard to put this on the maintenance crew, it's the players. Here is a great rule of thumb for every course: for every ball mark you make you should fix two. PLEASE!
Is it pricey? yes but worth the twilight/GolfNow price all day long.
Great Course
More expensive to play but worth it. Wonderful layout in magnificent shape. Lush turf, great greens.
Nice course
Beautiful view and staffs very kindness...
and very tough course... I like it..
