Conveniently located less than 20 minutes from Walt Disney World, Kissimmee Golf Club provides a pleasant escape for tourists looking for an affordable round of golf. Although it is situated near several tourist attractions, the golf course is also a favorite among local golfers. The course dates back to the early 1940's, but 18 holes were officially established in 1962 and since then, the tees and greens have been updated to provide better putting surfaces and more challenges. In addition to the golf course, Kissimmee Golf Club offers practice facilities for golfers to use, including one of the largest grass driving ranges in the country.

What a dump
The tee boxes, fairways, and green are garbage. Doesn't look like they care about the course or the facilities. I wouldn't play here if it was free....everything is brown and lumpy.
This course good be very good, but right now it is absolutely awful.
The driving range has no grass. The greens are very patchy. The pace of play was terrible. There were three groups playing on the par 3 seventh hole . There was no ranger. There was no one to load our bags on a cart and we had to go a get the cart to be able to load the bags.
All in all it was not a pleasant experience. We quit afte4 six holes.
Greens Rough
The greens were very poor as they start to grow. Maybe they will be better when they get cut and rolled. The fairways were bare and brown. The pace was slow with one foresome in front of us getting 3 holes behind and not catching up and no ranger in sight
Horrible course
The fairways are all virtually dead, not a green blade of grass and hard as concrete. The greens are almost as bad. The worst course I have ever played!
If you like playing on sawdust, this place is for you
Wow. Just an abysmal, embarassing excuse for a golf course. Horrible in every respect - tee boxes are sand pits with bits of dead grass....teeing off with an iron is like hitting a sand shot. Fairway grass is sawdust — not just dead grass, but sawdust. On the plus side, it’s easy to see where your shots land because of the charming poof of dust that comes up. Greens have equal amounts of exposed dirt and dead grass, but the divots are a nice touch. Forget about trying to hit a sand shot, for the bunkers are not maintained. As for clientele, the place is full of 70+ good old boy duffers who show up every day and are perfectly happy with their triple bogeys and 130 score. Shame on the owners and management, they should light the place on fire and put up another welfare trailer park so it blends in with the rest of the area. Bottom line — do not play here under any circumstances.
Seen Better Days
I have played this course a number of times over the last 4 years, but hadn't been here since last fall. I was shocked at the condition of the course. The fairways are burnt out, the greens play as bad as they look which is an understatement. The tees are also burnt and mostly devoid of grass. One person is checking golfers in while also running the bar and restaurant. Be aware it could take some time to check in. I will have to wait for the rainy season before I try this course again.
Course in Decline
The course was very dry and hard. Greens were barely playable. The starter was disorganized and overcommitted to other tasks. I played this course a couple of years ago and conditions were a lot better. I would not recommend this course to anyone. Very disappointing!

Oak course is older but quite sufficient for recreational golfers with several challenging water obstacles.
Very tired
The fairways, tees and greens looked as if they hadn’t seen a drop of water in months. A great shame, as the course layout - despite the proximity of the airfield - had some interesting holes.
never again
had trouble finding the starter. lots of people milling around at first tee, front nine took three hours to play and never saw a marshal .fairways very dry as well as greens which were like playing on concrete. Only good thing was no ball marks as greens so hard that no matter how high you came in you didn't even dent the green. We didn't get to see the back nine because we couldn't stand to waste another 3 hours on such a poor course.
Thoroughly disappointed
Read a lot of the reviews that said the course was in good shape. On the contrary, the course was in awful shape. Tee boxes were very beat up. Fairways were extremely uneven with high grass/weeds in some places. Greens were very bumpy. Some had sand all over them which made it hard to putt.
We paid for 9. Instead of sending the two of us off the back 9 (we asked) the starter made us sit in a line of 4 groups to wait for the 1st tee. Teed off about 10+ minutes after our tee time. Pace of play was extremely slow. It took 3.5 hours to play 9.
To top it all off, the course smelled like sewage in many places. We will not be returning. I’d rather pay more for a nicer course than pay less for poor conditions.

It’s been dry here in Fla so it’s understandable the the fairways are dry and has a number of brown spots. Also the tees could use some work and water. The green are bumpier than last year so some water and rolling would help that. All in all just being an average golfer and able to play at a decent rate the course is a good tuneup for when I return north. One thing is the course has a new manager Joe who is outgoing and friendly to new and old customers. He tells me that more effort is being made to bring the course up to excuse the expression Par. Will I return yes because my wife and I enjoy the play here and the free air show of some of the old WWll planes.
