Good evening , me and my family were eating at the bar and we were not happy with the bartender (Celio) because we did not feel welcomed and unfriendly service . He was not sure about the specials what the cooks had to offer so we were not happy with the service he offered , just wanted to bring it to the management attention .Thank you for reading my review !
Great Experience
Great experience from the beginning. Staff was friendly and helpful. Course layout was extremely well designed. Restaurant food was good as was the service. My only issues, and this is nitpicking, is the work on the greens in preparation of summer rain, but by next snowbirds season it should even be better. .
Since I have a friend that’s a member I plan on playing there often.
Loved it
This was my first time playing Copperleaf and loved. Most courses are under repairs in preperation for the onslaught of snow birds coming back down. This course is maintained to a high degree all year round. The golf carts all have GPS with overview of hole taking the guess work out of the game. Stopped at the restaurant after 18 and welcomed by staff as though we were long time members. Looking forward to playing again.
Winter home Course
First of all I am a member here so I may be somewhat biased. After 12 years since opening our course was completely renovated. The course was certainly good before but there was room for improvement. The changes while not dramatic have been profound. Such as changing the shape of the tee boxes to give a better look at the fairway, giving an area to land where there is water or sand carry, reshaping and lifting the greens for better visibility and drainage. My favorite change has been on the 5th hole par 3 where the green has been moved from the left where a pond came into play to the right with sand traps on the left protecting the green. Many of the greens are protected by sand traps - take more club. While this a private course during the season 11/1 to 3/31, off season pretty much anyone can play.
I called earlier this summer and they told me that they take no public play. How would I go about getting on? I've always really wanted to play here. Thanks!
