Bad conditions
This course is a total dog track not even worth half the money they charged. Felt like I was bamboozled.
Surprised at conditions.
Course played easier than expected but generally in good shape. Pricey but that’s golf these days. Nice to have speakers and charger in cart but what’s with no cups at water cooler? Buy water in plastic bottle is better for environment? Don’t think so.
Nice course, fairways need more grass
Great and friendly staff. Tee boxes and fairways were a bit thin. Greens were excellent and rolled nicely. Be aware that there are no cups provided for water at the clubhouse or on course. Played on a Friday and play was slow. We don’t see a ranger until the last hole. Layout was interesting and challenging. Errant shots will end up in the water.
WORST course & staff in SWFL
This has to be the WORST course I’ve played since moving to SWFL Paid over $200 each for the Tee time (we were a 4-some). As expected - HIGH prices during season - wouldn’t be an issue for ours if any of the below would not have been a problem.
1 - NO cups to use for drinking water. Huh??? Employee said since CoVid. Also says best thing that we did this way I don’t have to pick them up on the course. Then says - if you want cups go play at another course. WOW.
2 - Approx 14/18 Tee boxes were horrible. No grass. Mud - (even though it hasn’t rained in over 1 week
3 - The employees- both at check in & the starter were extremely rude. Clubhouse says you don’t need a receipt for the starter. Starter says you have to show me your receipt.
And there’s much more. But if you want to save yourself 4 hrs of your life that you will never get back- don’t play this course. There are plenty of others available for either the same $$$, a few bucks less or a few bucks more.
I have played here several times and I was disappointed in the course conditions. Greens were good bur fairways and rough was pretty thin. Also, the bring your own cup thing is ridiculous and should be prominently listed when making a tee time. It was a little wet when I played a not having towels or ball washers on the course made it more difficult. For what they charge, on course amenities should be better. Not sure I will be back.
Tired and over worked
This course is over played.
The conditions are average.
If it wasn't for the Duffy's bar there would be no reason to play here.
Its not a good value. There are other options.
Busy and tired course
Surprised how much they can charge for this course. Surprised why its so popular.
Its an average course with average conditions and it gets a lot of play.
Range balls are an extra charge ??
Except for the Duffy's on site, the amenities are basic.
Palmetto Pines in Cape Coral is so much better in every way. Old Corkscrew is way better.
Stoneybrook
The course layout is great. Greens were in great shape and fairly quick. (What I'm used to playing on). Really enjoyed the round there. Will definitely play it again.
Estero gem
Loved this course. From the clubhouse to the water range, to the fast greens and ridiculously long par 3's, it was a real challenge.
Not worth it
First, it was listed as in Naples, not. It was in Estero. Too far, not worth the drive or the cost. The course wasn’t that great either. Almost $200 to play. Will not be going back.
Nice track out pricey
Fun track, nice layout with tricky greens. Like most courses in Florida this time of year overpriced for what you get.
Better than expected
I was hesitant to book considering some of the negative reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. Staff was friendly, course was fun and nicely laid out. Greens were very nice. Wasn’t bothered by worn areas on tees or fairways and round took 4 hours even starting on 10 with crossover. Will play again.
