February Golf TRip
We play this course once per year. When we first started playing it 10+ years ago, we loved the layout and the surrounding area. Although the layout is the same, the surrounding area is being taken over by housing developments. It was very hard to get tee times 7 days in advance.
Very good course enjoyed it but we started on the back and when we got to the first hole there was a group in front of us they put a party in front of us, one things, that’s the wrong way to keep players coming back that fact alone I won’t play there again. But it is a nice course.
very disappointed
Thought the course was not in really good shape, tight lies with very little grass on fairways. Several greens with damage on them.
Magnolia Landing
Course not in great shape. Some greens had damage. Pace of play was slow even though the ranger spoke to group in front of us. Whole hold open. Way too much money for this course. Lots of water and blind shots.
Hacker
Course was in good shape and the staff was polite and very friendly. A great course to play we will definitely play it again.
Just average
Staff were amazing, course was just average, too many blind and tight holes for the average golfer, ranger did nothing to increase pace of play, group in front of us where a hole and a half behind. Overall was a good day but not really worth the 120 dollars to play at 1:00 in the afternoon..
Great course
I’ve golfed Magnolia about 10 times still one of my favorite courses
Golfnut
Slow Play
Positives: Good layout, fast greens, friendly staff
Negatives: sand traps have rocks, pricey green fees, slow play.
Ranger passed our group 4-5x throughout our round but did nothing to speed up play. I have no idea what the guy does other than cruise around in his golf cart.
Course in good condition and greens are in good condition
