Rating of round
Pace of play, good. Greens very good, course a little dry, overall good for the price.
Solo outing
Played this course many times with a friend whose health now prevents play. 3 nines in different combos. Dolphin/ River is my favorite . Paired w/ 3 golfers, Greens were fine Wind made it more challenging.
Nice day
Was not expecting much. And was pleasantly surprised. While not great, the layout was reasonable. Not tight but that’s ok. Conditions were fair, greens pretty good. I was worried about pace of play, but we were right around 4 hours on a very crowded day.
All in all a nice day and good value
Disappointed
I played Cocoa Beach Country club yesterday. The tee boxes were horrendous, fairways mostly burnt out, and greens only average.
Bad staff
First time at court my playing partner hit a errant shot when we came back to our green the ranger yells about where we drove back. I explained that I am a first time golfer here and not used to the surroundings but he continued to belittle me in front of my friends. Ignored him and tried to make the best of it, for a course that is in poor condition he acts as if you're playing at the Masters
Cocoa beach country club
tee boxes were below par, fairways and green were in awesome shape. driving range tee area was all dirt little grass.
Fun course. Parts under repair.
I always enjoy playing this course three 9’s (river, lake & dolphin). All t-boxes were under repair on the 2nd hole of River. Temp tees made it a very short 75 yard par 3. Other than that, it was in good shape. Starter was a little crabby but the rest of the staff was very nice.
Waste of time and money
Sad to say it but--Played this course for over 30 years, it's had its ups and downs, been in great shape occasionally but this last round--not even close. I've seen it worse but that was many moons ago. Fairways mostly dead and dry, Scattered spots of green grass in low lying areas. Tee boxes more like unkempt sand traps, especially Par 3s. Wouldn't be surprised if only irrigation is around greens. Some greens were rolling nice, others had rolling putts jump 2-3 inches into air while enroute to hole. $55.00 for non city resident but Florida resident. As the title says, spend your money else where.
Enjoyed playing this course was longer yardage than I expected.
Staff was great, would play this course again.
Nice course
Good thing they have GOOD SIGNAGE. CONFUSING LAYOUT. overall nice course. Tee boxes are bare of grass.
Mr. Friendly
Have generally enjoyed playing CB over the years. Received an impressive welcome upon checking in for our tee time when the attendant remarked, “you’re the free Golf Now group.” Course, not unlike the attendant, is worn out.
Nice coarse to play
Course was in good condition and has a variety of different holes. On this day play was very slow, but will be back.
Laid back course with a view
Always a peaceful and relaxing round at cocoa beach. Three nine hole courses , friendly staff, and an excellent view of the river while you play.
