Cocoa Beach - River/Dolphin
We played after a lot of rain had fallen on previous days. The River/Dolphin courses were 90 degree and the Lakes was cart path only. The course was very playable. It looks a little shaggy when you look at the overall area but didn't play that way. I have no complaints about the tee boxes or fairways. The greens are probably the best in the Central Florida Area. They feel soft when you walk on them but putt reasonably fast and true. The only problem that I had with our day was the grumpy rangers at the course. There was a Severe weather event that was going to blow through the area. We parked our carts in the cart barn and were instructed where to park by one of the rangers. A few minutes later two of the other rangers came to us and demanded that we remove our carts from the cart barn and put them under the portico in front of the building as they didn't have "room" for our carts in there. They were very snarky as we were holding out hope to play after the severe weather passed. After about 40 minutes we were able to return to the course and play the remaining 16 holes we had to finish. Its too bad that this facility has always had this type of people working in the cart area. This is not the first time with rude behaviors from cart attendants/rangers. All other aspects and staff get no complaints as they are top notch.
Greens were in great shape. Much the better than other courses we played in the area.
Fairways are dry, the same as the rest of the area courses.
Layout is good, some interesting holes.
Range balls are cheap, but bring single dollars bills to feed a ball machine.
We enjoyed the round and will play again and recommend.
Nice spot 4 a launch
Pace of play was excellent, 3hr 2some. Nice golf round, fairways in good condition, greens look good, little bumpy tho. Grass range area, beverage cart, country club feel, nice touch. GN.
18 holes as a single
Played the round in 3.5 hours du to foursome traffic in front of me with no room to play through. Greens in good shape; fairways hardpan.
CBCC
Course in good condition. Greens in great condition. Get out to CBCC and give it a try.
Pick your nine
They have three separate nine holes.
The Lakes was in poor condition
The River was in good condition, what I was expecting.
Didn’t golf Dolphin nine.
Decent course
Fun course but not in the best shape. Reasonably priced priced. Long course for women.
Not sure what’s going on with this course. It used to be one of my favorite courses in the area. Seems like they are letting it run down bad fairways and the greens used to be amazing. Honestly it’s disappointing hopefully they change. Great location
Booked thru golf now and when I got to the course they told me they don't do golf now.so I paid golf now there juice and 10 a man more for a round of golf.if you don't do golf now then get off golf now.guy was rude no more golf at Coaco country club for me and my crew.
only got 9 in
Rain rolled in earlier than expected so only played nine holes . They issued us a rain check . Cart path only with so much rain lately.
a good Day
Cart path only but course was quite dry considering the recent rain. Few on course played in 3.15 hrs
more bathrooms please
We enjoyed our round of golf at Palm Bay Golf Course. We played Lakes and River courses and were happy with each. Loved the views along the way! One note, I would loved to have seen more bathrooms on the course!!!
