Ibis Golf Course at Pelican Preserve Golf Club

Nice track, kinda feel like you're in north Florida with all the undulating fairways, cypress & oak trees. The staff is always great and the track is always in good condition.

If you take the first tee time at 7:30, don't expect to finish early. They double stack all three nines so when we finished the first nine in 1 hour and 35 minutes, we were told we would have to wait till after 9:30 to start the second nine because they had tee times until then. My group likes early tee times because we normally finish in 3 1/2 hours or less but you cannot do it here. Wait then hit, wait then hit, ... the whole second nine.

I played this course for the first time last week and I was concerned when I saw a full parking lot and a jammed packed driving range. I was not sure we would finish before dark with our 1:22 tee time. I had a great twi rate of $39., so I was not taking a big risk. The starter was a very friendly fellow with the voice command of a former drill sergeant. He did a great job of putting similar players off certain 9's. Our front 9 moved well and the back 9 was very fast. The round was just under 4 hours. Unheard of these days. I commented this to the bag attendant and he said we were lucky to get on the fast loop. Some others were on the slower loop and taking 30 minutes more to play. The course is a good layout. Some holes are in the nature preserve with no houses, but the majority are along developed areas. Most homes are not really in play, but there is a lot of new construction and that could change. I loved the shapes of the greens and the varied pin placements that made for many challenging shots. This is a course well worth playing and driving up to Colonial Blvd for.

played the course with 7 friends from Munich and Bad Toelz and we all loved the well maintained fairways and challenging greens. Got the great golf rate for parts of us. Staff was very friendly!!

Very nice course with wide generous fairways and rolling fast greens. For the amount of people I seen on the course, the pace of play was great. Dress code is a little strict ( tucked in shirt, no extra pockets on your shorts) but they were nice about it . Will definitely be back!

I put down 3 1/2 hours for the round but want it to be known we played the front nine twice. When we made the turn, there was a foursome, a twosome, & a single on ten, so we played the front again. I like this course and have played it a half dozen or so times. A better value in the offseason but always fun.

Good layout, challenging yet fair ,not too tight on the landing areas.

Wide open fairways for the bombers, not too much trouble. Large greens. Course is interesting and in good shape.

The greens were rolling consistent and true. All bunkers were also consistent throughout the course. Tee boxes and fairways are good.

The Ibis and Egret courses have a good playable layout. The Egret course has many houses all around it while the Ibis course has no houses yet and wide open. This golf course needs some attention in maintainance. The greens are well but the fairways and tees have brownish grass on them as they need watering badly. The staff are super friendly.

Found the course to be very enjoyable. Layout is good for beginners and the seasoned golfer. The greens were perfect. True rolls. Water never come into play. We played Heron and Ibis.

Enjoyed course played this course a second time as I enjoyed the initial chance to play.

This course was in excellent condition. The fairways were very playable, the rough was penalizing and the greens were fast and true.

Very warm welcome. Excellent facilities and setting. Played Heron and Ibis (Ibis definitely the crown in the jewel) Offers challenge for all standards of golfer. Terrific value for money.

Had a great time. Course has a fine layout. Course caters to every level of golfer. Friendly staff, makes for both a sweet deal, and a golf steal.

The Golfcourse is in good condition, you have to play long and straight. The greens on the shorter holes are difficult. Very good Golfcourse.
