Aileron Golf Club
About
Located on the site of the former Kingsway Country Club, Aileron Golf Club opened in late 2023 as a golf retreat for members and guests of Sunseeker Resort, overlooking nearby Charlotte Harbor. Totally redesigned by Florida architect Kipp Schulties, this golf course is characterized by generous fairways, large and gently sloping greens and bright-white bunkers. Water comes into play along 14 holes, making for several challenging tee and approach shots, especially when the wind blows. Pristine conditioning and well-spaced tee times lend the place a relaxed atmosphere, while the brand-new clubhouse offers casual dining, indoor and patio seating and broad views of the golf course and extensive practice facility.

Well maintained course
Course is a cut above most other courses around the port charlotte area. Greens are in good shape and fairways were maintained. Played 18 in just over 4 hours. Nice pro shop and restaurant.
Good Round
Greens were faster then usual. Challenging but once you got the pace the puts ran true. Only one green#16 that was in average shape and slower.
Fairways were starting to brown due to lack of rain.
My son who is a club pro and played from the tips and found the course very challenging. He enjoyed his round.
course needs work
First time playing this course and found it to be very disappointing. I read some of the reviews before taking an hour and a half trip down to Lake suzy to play this course. My son and a friend of his from Delaware was excited about playing, but once on the course we found the fairways to be hard and lacking grass in many areas. Couldn't really get under ball unless you compressed it every time. It's a great layout and probably would play it again, but will check it out before doing so. Staff was great! However, at this point I couldn't rate this as a premier course....far from it.
Challenging but fair course
Water & sand on every hole although with shot placement water not an issue on majority of holes. Pace of play good, nice driving range and practice area. Course very dry with tight lies in fairway. Greens recently sanded so lightening fast and our 4-some expecting breaks & usually disappointed.
Great spring conditions
Nice course, well maintained, true roll on the greens. Fun layout
Kingsway CC
The course narrow for the most part with lots of sand and water. It made you think about going for it or laying up all the time.
I liked it and would play it again.
Cash factory
Played here once before, got a great deal and was close to airport, thought would be a good way to kill a little time. Got paired up with a very nice threesome, but the put way too many on the course at one time, I am a club professional and this is not a very easy course, pretty tight and alot of trouble, for the average golfer not an easy course, very windy the day I played and the green were fast, but I thought the pin positions were too tough for the conditions. And it was terribly slow pace, took 3-1/2 hours too play 12 holes, I needed to leave for a pickup at Airport, but i could tell by then that we would not finish before dark. No marshalls late afternoon to push play, got the feeling that they push you out too make room for more players, no well managed, won't be back anytime soon.
Great In Season option
This is my 4th in season visit to Kingsway. I find it a great value amongst many over priced courses. I gave a 4 for conditions mostly due to lack of rain in the area. Greens were very quick. Staff. Is friendly, pace of play was good. I was paired with a member who couldnt have been more accommodating and happy for the outside play Golfnow provides. A+++ IMO
Good Course
Nice course to play. Good value for the money. Course was in nice shape. Staff was friendly.
VERY GOOD LAYOUT.CHALLENGING HOLES. GREENS ARE VERY FAST, COURSE NEEDS SOME WATER STARTING TO DRY OUT. WILL PLAY AGAIN.
nice game
i play with and other guy in 3 1/2 h wow and the course is in a perfect shape
Windy and a lot of water
You have very nice Driving Range kitchen area and putting. Starters were very courteous. Not play in there before don’t know exactly where the trouble. A lot of water and when it’s windy becomes quite difficult the greens were in great shape fairways were in great shape they have a 90° rule all over
